Busy Bees at Nottingham University

Absolutely lovely environment, lovely staff who couldn't do more for you :)

My little one has been attending nursery since 7months old. She is developing each day and learning new things which is so lovely to see. Staff are nurturing and really care for my daughter. This has helpedher to develop strong relationships with each staff member that looks after her.Thank you to the staff team at Nottingham University Busy Bees!

My daughter started in March, the member of staff made me feel welcome and reassured me as my daughter did not know no oneelse due to Covid so was really clingy , The manger Katie was so helpful and given me lots of settling in session before my daughter starting nursery . The admin for nursery fees was really helpful as use tax free childcare . And was helpful when need to ask her any questions , The staff are always Professional and give the best care for my Daughter , I can see a big different with my daughter she learning so much and can’t appreciate the girls what they do in babies . My daughter loves going to nursery and when she comes out she has the big smile on her face . Also the parent zone is amazing and see what’s my daughter has done throughout the day .

Their receptionist Jo is so condescending and unhelpful. Reminded me of Ms.Trunchable from Matilda.From day one sent the wrong paperwork out without my updated address- I provided the new address on my welcome pack. Failed to send me an updated day schedule for my child. Her reasons were always ‘before I had processed’ but when I asked for some sort of leeway refused based on strict calendar dates.Then hounded me to set up a direct debit but you can pay on the Busy Bees website. Also asked me about the direct debit form after my first settling in session, had she checked her emails she would of seen I supplied it previously.Then she wouldn’t wait for me to be set up on the Childcare Grant Payment system so I had to pay upfront even though I am entitled to Student Finance help and my childcare costs should of been £120 per monthIn the space of seven weeks Busy Bees have taken £600 directly from me. Also, it’s not a month they charge as stated in the paperwork they charge five weeks in advance!Not worth the hassle of childcare for a newborn baby I’d rather stay at home.
