Cafe Local Fratton

Massively overpriced, doesn't offer most of the drinks on the menu, rude when asked about these. Refused to give another customer a couple of ice cubes in a cup despite her having paid out over £3 for a Red Bull on one of the hottest days of the year. Coffee received mediocre at best and not worth the price. Won't bother next time

I practically have a reserved seat at the cafe in my beloved train station, and let me tell you, it's my second home on the rails. The baristas there know my name, my favorite coffee, and probably my life story by now. If they gave out loyalty punch cards, I'd have a free latte for life!This cafe is like the heartbeat of the station, always bustling with travelers trying to get their caffeine fix before their journey. The barista's espresso machine skills are so on point that I suspect they could make coffee even for a sleep-deprived sloth and have it buzzing with energy.The pastries, oh boy! They're like little clouds of joy. I don't even check the calories on those delicious muffins anymore; I just mentally file them under train station workout."So

Lee and the team always give amazing service. Zoe finds the time to smile to everyone, even before the sun rises. Takes the edge off commuting!!!

Decent coffee. Prices are above average for drinks.Food is ridiculous! £5 for a sausage roll?Staff seem unhappy! Service with a smile or friendly welcoming is needed!Overall it’s convenient for travellers looking for a quick snack or drink.

It’s disgusting to be charged 65p extra for plant based ‘milk’. In addition to what already charged for normal milk in the price! I’m being penalised for choosing the animal friendly version which is also better for the planet. On a burning planet (you’ve seen the news yea?) should encourage customers to make the kinder choice. It’s disgraceful. I appreciate business owners need to pass on supplier costs but 65p for a small cup is more than mark-up. Maybe you should consider changing your supplier to one that aligns with your 'sustainable' values and not use it as an excuse to rip people off who are making sensible choices
