Rydal Care Home - Minster Care Group

My morher was placed in rydal because of slight incontinence after an operation. The care she received was disguting and she had to be rushed into hospital after i phoned a doctor out myself after they ran out of her medicine and never bothered to order any more . Avoid sending loved ones here be warned they could literally kill them. This place is a disater just waiting to happen

My husband has been residing at Rydal since April 2020 when everything was very difficult for everyone. Like lots of homes they had their struggles. Concerns were raised on a number of issues but even during that time I felt my husband was well cared for and happy in his surroundings. Since that time a new manager has been appointed and I can't praise her highly enough.During recent isolation period we would have celebrated our Silver wedding. Natalie arranged zoom call and lots of treats that mean so much.I feel the whole team look after me as much as they look after my husband. If all care homes could look to working like this one no one need worry.

Visited my aunt here,earlier today whilst she is having some rehabilitation following a fall, wow what lovely staff they all seemed to be. I could see them running around working hard and at the time of my visit, a male member of staff was attending to my aunt, he appeared to be caring and careful treating her with dignity and respect, he didn't know I was watching as, I was waiting for her to return to her seat on my surprise visit. One member of staff came and brought her tea and was just so sweet, not an easy job they have. We'll done to the staff, you must have some hard challenging days. Wish you all well and thanks for looking after my aunt and all the other residents.
