The Italian Pantry at Compton Acres

I was visiting the Italian garden and bumped into this little shop on site. They have a whole array of food and drink selections, from sweets, to snacks, to olive oil, to wine and cheese.I got some wine and snacks to try. They are not only looking good but also tasted so nice. I also got a bottle of olive oil that looks and smell very nice, and I'll try it when back home. The store manager has very good knowledge about Italian food apparently and being very helpful to guide me through finding what I want. I definitely will visit it again in my next trip.

What a fabulous little Italian deli.Full of great products including 48 month aged Parmesan and the best selection of aged and flavoured balsamic vinegars. Very knowledgeable and helpful service. Highly recommended.

If you are near Compton Acres the grounds are really worth a visit. Fantastic gardens and a wonderful cafe,While your there visit The Italian Pantry it has superb Italian produce with outstanding service. You wont regret either

This is an absolutely wonderful shop !! Marco is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the absolutely outstanding food , wine and just about anything deliciously Italian…. I will without doubt be back , and can’t wait to try the balsamic and Parmesan as well as the others bits and pieces I came away with.

Wonderful products. I purchased olive oils, cheeses and guanciale. Marco was incredibly helpful and emailed me a recipe for his carbonara. Shall definitely return!

Marco has managed to bring a true Italian food experience to Poole. He is passionate and knowledgeable about his home country, and will give you wise advice.Olga brought enthusiasm and a pretty smile to the whole experience today.We left with 4 proper Italian Panettone and few other bits.Worth a visit!

Marco is a superb host. Knowledgeable, friendly and helped me pick some lovely produce. The Tuscan wine that he recommended was affordable and great. Will be back again.

What can I say, I am so exited to have found this place, Italian food is famous in the world, but is not enough to be Italian to be great.Excellence comes from the highest quality products, made in particular areas, where tradition is kept.The Italian Pantry has all those products; you can find an amazing vinegar that is 16 years old and taste nothing like the one in the supermarket; is sweeter, denser and is the time that has rested that makes the difference.An olive oil that has been squeeze at cold and preserve the original taste as the temperature has not changed it.Pasta trafilata al bronzo, that is made in a unique way to better keep the sauce. Everything in the shop follows the same pattern, chosen from excellent raw materials and top quality only.The beauty and authenticity of the packages makes all even more beautiful and elegant.Finally a proper taste of Italy in the UK!

A stunning Italian corner at the heart of Sandbank, great choice of high quality Italian stuff !!! finally we found a proper Italian deli in Poole! highly recommended, Marco the owner is very helpful ...absolutely amazing!!!!!
