Morgan Ellis Lifts

We are so thrilled with our new Stiltz lift. The base is in our sitting room but is reasonably unobtrusive.It is quiet and easy to operate.Morgan Ellis Lifts were very helpful to deal with and it was installed in two days by a highly efficient, thoroughly pleasant team who were very easy to have around our home.

We could not be happier with the work that Jeff, Alice, Phil and all members of the team did for us. We are extremely happy with the lift; it looks great and so far is working perfectly, and Morgan Ellis team acted totally professionally and diligently throughout. Highly recommend them.

The pneumatic lift (PVE30) recently installed by Morgan Ellis Lifts is a very good lift - solid, good safety features and looks good. We were lucky that the lift fits into the existing central stairwell with very little building alterations required. People visiting our house have remarked on how good the lift is and how smart it looks. A lift was vital for us - my wife and I are getting on in years and ill-health and growing mobility issues meant something needed to be done urgently if we were to stay in our house. A stairlift was not a safe option for us. The engineers Drew and Jordan installing the lift were first-rate - knowledgeable and very experienced; we are greatly reassured that these engineers will be servicing the lift regularly in the future. The steady backup, project management and reassurance of the Morgan Ellis Lifts Executive Office Manager Alice was much appreciated in what is a quite complex and lengthy process from ordering through to completion, involving engineers, builders and electrician. Notwithstanding the understandable complexities of lift ordering, processing and installation the end result is well-worth it.

A nightmare experience. After 7 weeks our lift was still not operational. My husband is disabled and we were unable to return to our home. Morgan Ellis constantly blamed the manufacturer and did nothing and took no responsibility. Eventually I, and NOT Morgan Ellis, went directly to the manufacturer myself. to ask for help. They sent out a senior engineer who got it working in a day. And beware, Morgan Ellis take all your money upfront.

It was a pleasure working with Jeff and Matt! I was looking for a high end home lift, which not only would solve my need but also add value and a touch of design to my house. The lack of space was a problem, but on a first visit they were able to advise me on the best location and homelift for me, a PVE30 pneumatic vacuum elevator with a footprint of 30 diameter!! Very pleased with the Aritco lift, which we had installed into our new house for my 92 year old mother. It is very quiet, and easy to use. Morgan Ellis came out several times to measure and check everything was ok before fitting. Alice was at the end of the phone answering and dealing with our calls efficiently and promptly.

Excellent all round lift purchase and install. Special mention to Drew and Jordan for a great, clean, tidy and quick install plus Alice back in the office who went above and beyond to make sure everything worked out. If you want a lift this is the place to go - highly recommended.

First things first. I contacted Morgan Ellis (ME) and the manufacturer of the lift, Stiltz. A Stiltz salesman called and impressed me the features, functions and benefits. He then gave me the price and asked me to place and order. Before that meeting I had a conversation with ME. The salesman there asked about the needs and location for the lift. He then gave me a price. I told the Stiltz guy that I was in discussion with Morgan for transparency. The price difference was £6k in ME's favour. The Stiltz guy said that they would match any price from a distributor but credibility had been lost and I ordered it from ME.Installation was lengthy with three teams from different companies involved. However, all were very helpful, professional and did an excellent job.Great product and great happiness for my wife to be able to go upstairs for the first time in six years.

My husband is very disabled. We asked Morgan Ellis to replace our ancient through the floor wheelchair lift. The one they have installed is too small and they are refusing to replace it or reimburse us. They refused to come and see it and offered unworkable alterations. Now we are having to replace it with the help of Edinburgh Council. We feel very let down by Morgan Ellis.

We were blown away by the amazing customer service from Morgan Ellis. We dealt primarily with Gary and Alice who are some of the most professional people we have met. We instantly felt at ease with their friendly and emphatic nature but also felt assured that their prices were better than competitive. We did some looking around at other companies which in hindsight was a waste of time so if you’re reading this, don’t bother looking elsewhere and just go direct to Morgan Ellis. You won’t regret it.
