Absolutley no hesitation in recommending this companyDonald organised our pick up from Cruise line Fred Olsen last Saturday and Call our driver was amazing..good ,safe driver and lots of info..took us all over in about 4 hours..worth every penny.. Would highly recommend this company..ThankYouNick, Joanne, Tony and Carol..

Booked to take a party of 6 to a wedding. They never showed and when I phoned to find out what was happening I got no explanation and then they stopped answering my calls. We were stuck 9 miles away from the church, no time to get another taxi. Had to find two cars and two drivers at very short notice. To date still no explanation or apology. Do not recommend and won’t use again.

Stewart was excellent met us at the pier and showed us the main sights. But what was really impressive was learning about the Island from someone who really knew the Islands inside out Thankyou

Booked a taxi to meet our cruise ship in Kirkwall. Booked a 10am to 2 pm tour. Imagine our disappointnent when the taxi failed to turn up. We phoned to be told the taxi had broken down the previous evening we received no notification nor was an alternative offered.So thank you Orkney cabs for letting us down so badly and your rude behaviour on our arrival. Andrew of Harbour Taxis to the rescue thanks for saving our day. Imagine my surprise while on our your with Harbour Taxis I noticed 3 Orkney Taxis parked together according to website your complete fleet what happened to i It's in the garage" did you just overbook and lie not a way to treat tourists coming to your island shame on you Orkney Cabs"

On time and very clean excellent service

I booked a taxi to meet me at the airport but nobody was there when I was ready to leave. I phoned the company who confirmed they had the booking and it would take '5 minutes' for the taxi to arrive. It took over 10 which means that they were still in Kirkwall and not on their way to me. The taxi driver made no effort to communicate, not even to apologise. He didn't believe this was for him to do as he was just sent on a job. I had been quoted 'about £10' but was charged precisely £12.50 - perhaps the extra was for surliness!Fortunately, everybody else in the Orkneys was pleasant and polite so it was unfortunate to be welcomed by Orkney Taxis. There are so many other taxi companies, I would advise to try them first. A list can be found inside the airport on the wall near the check-in.

Forgot our booking, lied about it being on the way. Over 30 minutes late as of writing this. Girlfriend is unwell and forced to wait in the cold. Not impressed*Was not charged for fair as apology*

Booked Orkney Taxis twice during my stay in Kirkwall. Both times they were on time and got us where we needed to go, great service.
