The team at Timpsons in Ely are fantastic. They are always helpful and very efficient. I aways take my shoes and boots here for repairs. They explain exactly what they will do to them and obviously take care and pride in their work.I thoroughly recommend them for shoe repairs and cutting house keys.

Don't try and get your motorcycle key at Timpson, use a proper key cutter that has confidence in their work, like Well Heeled in Ely. Previous encounter with Timpson Ely was with a genuine Suzuki key, that was eventually cut with doubts over the origin of the key, although I produced an invoice from Fowlers. With that in mind, I returned with a genuine Yamaha key but was met with a new policy that basically says Timpson will not cut the key unless it's genuine, in case it causes damage to your ignition barrel or locks if you supply the key yourself. Timpson's could supply a key, which would not be genuine, but seemingly happy to cut that blank. Very confusing and frustrating. Went into town and asked Well Heeled (Ely) if they could cut the key, which he did with no dramas or disclaimers and all for very good price.

Guy was really rude, dunno why. I just wanted a new key battery!

Got my the links taken out of my daughters Armani watch he done it really quickly and was well priced and said to come back if needed anymore taken out or adding so was really helpful n a life saver being open on a Sunday as she wanted to wear it on her birthday.

Nothing works in here. Tried getting keys duplicated a few weeks ago, and they had a malfunctioning internet connection (doubt the key machine needs to be online to cut keys). Then dry cleaning services also unavailable. Rude staff. Should just close down

Appalling service and extremely rude, he was more interested standing talking to his mate on the phone than wanting to serve customers. I walked away and went to 'Well Heeled' on the High Street in Ely where I received much better service.

Very helpful guy. Changed my watch battery and cleaned the metal lock. All for nothing because I have a Timpson's lifetime warranty on the battery. Couldn't have been nicer. Thank you.

Replacement of my car key fob, that should have been a 5 minute job, ended up taking about 30 minutes. Mark, the manager worked endlessly to ensure the key fob I had would work efficiently. He gave blood, sweat and tears (literally- cut himself through his efforts). Am very grateful for Mark persevering, the car key works perfectly! He did not charge me a penny, just asked if I would mind leaving a review. Thank you.

Cut 2 keys for a very expensive 18 Pounds and one key didn't work. Since it's 2023, I payed online (tap my bank card) and didn't keep the tiny paper receipt thinking the online transaction details with the place and address should be sufficient to prove my purchase.The person who was serving at 5:15 PM on 10th of August said that it is not acceptable to do the repair without the paper receipt but I convinced him somehow to take a look as I am not looking for a refund.He took the key very uninterested, showed it to a machine and gave it back saying he didn't have to do it. I went back and checked the key again and it still doesn't work.How I am supposed to go back to him and say this again? I don't think I will be able to accept him being rude again! Anyone responsible for Timpson (ELY near Tesco).. Any thoughts ??? Don't care about customer service ?Generally, more expensive the work better the service but not in your case I guess.Wish there was a zero star option!!!!!

Had a car key cut and was was hard to press the buttons.he Said there was nothing wrong and what did I want him to do about it. Replace the case please. His reply was it will be the same. So I asked for a refund with that he throw the key parts at me. What a joke of a company won’t be going there ever lot of other companies much better
