Pendruccombe House

Terrible care of my now deceased grandmother. In the three months she stayed at Pendruccombe House, her false teeth had not been cleaned once. She fell three times trying to get to the loo because she wasn’t listened to by the carers. They made her feel guilty about asking to go to the loo! In the end she tried taking herself, which wasn’t possible as she was in terrible pain, and as a result this lead to her falling.She told us that the care assistant had doubled her medication and they coerced her to take it. They had no right to do so as none of them were qualified doctors.She also lost a considerable amount of weight and her general demeanour was that of someone who’d lost all hope. They robbed her of all her joy and happiness.I CANNOT IN GOOD FAITH RECOMMEND THIS TERRIBLE INSTITUTION. As a family, we are heartbroken at the care she received at Pendruccombe House. I have only just got around to posting this review because it was too emotional for me at the time of her passing.Why is my comment not showing ?
