Really bizarre situation. Went there in the evening with a trolley as I bought lots of waters. Minding my own business as the tills were closed I went to self service and staff suddenly jump at me that I can't be there with the trolley. Ok but the till was closed and she got into bizarre conversation telling me that o put items in a basket. Good luck trying to put water packs in basket. The stuff was just rude and unnecessarily bothered me without any valid point or solution. Either open the till or don't bother me and let me get on with my shopping.

Now fully open! (Read my March 18, pre-opening review below)Dec 2019: Consistently good since opening. Just the perfect size for a shop. Provides more than ample parking.Nov: 2018 update: Now fully open with a massive car park, and is to the usual high standards with the fastest checkout staff for any supermarket.Checkout the bargains sections where items are added every Thursday and Sunday.March 2018: Waiting for this Aldi to open soon. My experience with other Aldis has been good. Good bargains on bread and butter daily use foods, and some of the own brand items consistently score highly in independent reviews. Also has scooped best supermarket title for several past years. Hope it has an easy access carpark.Highly recommend the sweets and meats.

Worst Aldi in Northampton due to the on going problem with no trolleys! Whatever the issue is they need to find a solution. Surely must be losing them money because no one can do a big shop. And if you manage to get lucky and get one of the few trolleys when you’re finished your shop you’re met with a group of vultures outside asking for your trolley because everyone is desperate for one.

Will not be going back to this store my household shops weekly in store have just been made to feel each time over the past few months being targeted as a shop lifter I understand there are issues but it is disgraceful on there approach my partner was told not asked to open his coat but then also to remove his coat he opened but refused to remove his coat security then asked why he had layers on never mind it was 4 degrees outside winter and raining security then proceeded to pat him down my partner is autistic and it’s hard enough to get him to go into shops if I can’t …

A very welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. High quality products and a lot of parking spaces. Toilet available for all. Very accessible for wheelchair drivers. The presence of security officer and CCTV for safety at all times.

This is probably not a good overview of this supermarket all the time , however it does paint a negative picture.A couple days ago, I went shopping here. It was the second time I have been here, and what did I experience? I experienced:-no shopping trolleys (did students steal them all?)-some products like mixed veg were finished-the baskets don't even have wheels. So I thoroughly enjoyed carrying 2 heavy baskets around the store floor.-update 1 year later :Still no shopping trolleys.-Update 2 years later (one year after the last) :they have trolleys.

Don’t even go there, the staff are extremely rude. I went there today to get an energy drink and didn’t find the one I was looking for. I walked out of Aldi and one of the staff ran to get me. He made a whole scene and didn’t even check my bag properly. I felt so humiliated and embarrassed.Also it has happened twice to my friendIf you want to get humiliated go ahead but for me

The staff from the store is not professional been asked at the till to show my bag without any reason same person at the till ,I ve seen even security staff checking people for bags and recept totally disgrace the staff and theyre procedure with customers at this store

This store has self service checkout.It's close to dwelling houses. This encourages individuals without vehicles to visit.Some of the staff are extra friendly (they try to have short conversations with customers) and give advice on products.The security guy smiles.
