Good venue for underground nights dance reggae rave ect only down side limited seated areas

Used this studio for a jam/rehearsal with old friends. It was clean, tidy and fairly well equipped. (More than enough for what we needed)Free tea and coffee as well as snacks that could be purchased. Friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere.Priced fairly for rehearsal, as you would expect.

Travelled 40 mins as other band members have used in the past. Fantastic rehearsal space. The minimal cost requested is by far out weighed with the quality of the space, ease of parking and availability of equipment on offer. Have booked more sessions and will no doubt use these guys to record in the near future. Would 100% recommend to others.

Wonderful experience, the band and I enjoyed our recording sessions thoroughly and the equipment available coupled with Ben's expertise are worth no less than 5 stars. Would recommend to any band looking for a cheap but professional studio session.

The rehearsal rooms smell like people have died in them. Nearly double the price of where we now rehearse and this one doesn’t even provide a snare.

Poorly equipped with junk shop gear. Not for the professional. Through bluff alone, the owner and his charming lady might get a few naive amateurs to pay the exorbitant fees. Believe me, one can get far far better value in Dorset! The owner reminds me of a goldfish in a bowl. From the outside one can see he lives in a tiny world. And his view of the real world is distorted. In my dealings with music (which have made me the owner of over £1million in houses alone) I have met some fragile ego's, but Sean wins the prize! Dare to point out that he has cheap monitors and you'll get wounded replies that you're too direct" or "unprofessional". Truth is most of the gear IS trash and there's nothing wrong with saying so. He describes the amateur musicians hanging around his seedy premises (who treat him like a music God) as "his": which is peculiar and indicative of his goldfish bowl fantasy. Maybe one future day he will be a great studio owner. But right now Basement is simply a control freak's fantasy world. Best avoided."

Absolutely amazing equipment for music, fully recommend for bands and lessons for your instruments

A well appointed, well equipped studio and rehearsal room. Great ambience, helpful and professional staff. A brilliant space in which to be creative.

The best rehearsal place and the best studio in Dorset. Basement has quickly become a home from home, great rooms, great facilities, top PA systems, great prices and friendly owners. I wouldn't want to use anywhere else if i can help it.
