Sedgewell Cove

Great beach but covers at high tide. Other beaches in walking distance. Really sandy family beach dogs allowed in certain areas. Steps down to beach so sadly no disabled access. Cafe and toilets in car park £8.50 to park all day.

Absolutely stunning, perhaps best beach I’ve been to in the U.K. but of a steep walk down to beach and there’s not that many facilities. But the views, causeway and sea are very special.

Nice place to take pictures and enjoy the island / beach.

BEST BEACH IN THE UK

Bimbled down to this little gem on the fantastic coast of the South Hams during a spell of leave. Whilst the weather was a little iffy, the beach is a delight and the on-the-scene coffee barista makes it a great experience for anyone who likes sand and a view of individuals trying to learn to surf.Whilst dogs are not allowed on the main beach, it is well worth the wait .....and as the tide goes out and the estuary relinquishes its presence around the headland, you are presented with virgin clean beaches as the river winds its way towards bantham. A great beach with amazing safety cover provided by the RNLI.
