Travelodge London Mile End

We were greeted with a great smile on arrival. The reception staff were friendly, helpfull and informative. 3 days in London to celebrate a birthday and catch up with friends and see a show. All a lot easier after a good nights sleep on a comfortable bed. The hotel is situated on the Mile End Rd which is very busy, so pleasantly surprised the room was so peaceful.The room was clean and tidy.Love the staff, love the room and love proximity for buses and the tube.BIG THANK YOU xx

I am writing this complaint to express my disappointment with the level of service I experienced during my recent stay at Travelodge Mile End. Unfortunately, my experience was far from optimal, and I feel the need to bring these issues to your attention in the hope that you will address them and perhaps take necessary steps to improve the quality of the service.Firstly, I would like to highlight the consistent absence of reception staff during my stay. On multiple occasions, I found the reception area to be completely empty, leaving me without anyone to address my inquiries.Also, I was deeply dissatisfied by the lack of cleanliness and housekeeping in my room throughout my stay. The sheets were not changed regularly, or the bed made, and when questioned I was told it is only done every 6 days. This also applies to the room itself as any housekeeping did not take place and guests are encouraged to leave their rubbish outside their doors.Furthermore, I was surprised to find that essential amenities, such as toilet paper and hand and body wash, were not regularly replenished in my room as I had to repeatedly ask for refills, which was an inconvenience and a disruption to my stay.In addition, there was also a significant issue with the kettle provided in my room. The kettle leaked water everywhere through its connection with the base. This not only created a pool of water all over the desk, which not only posed a safety hazard, but also got several of my belongings to become wet.Had there been a member of staff at the reception desk when I checked out, I would have made it a point to let staff know of this issue as I feel it is a major safety concern.

Expensive, but it was Wimbledon week. Good location almost next to Stepney Green tube station. Basic room, but what you'd expect anyway for a Travellodge. Can't fault cleanliness of room. Air con working. Super silent (3rd floor rear). Fast and efficient check in. Plenty of vegan options for breakfast on the menu too (I didn't try them, but a colleague said they weren't the best for taste)

This was an amazing place to stay for my family for a while. The only problem is the dinner gets EXTREMELY repetitive if you do not have access to the diamond meals (higher and better quality). The staff were very hospitable and tender to your cares almost immediately. This location is close to the DLR and Underground so it has very good transportation as well.

I haven't stayed in a Travelodge for some time. I must say I was pleasantly surprised, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the staff friendly. I suppose all that is only what you are entitled to, but it hasn't always been my experience.This hotel is on a busy road with lots of wailing emergency sirens, so if you are sensitive to traffic noise this may not be the place for you.

The hotel is in a great location next to the tube station, and the staff were all lovely, especially Carlos who checked us in. Everything was clean and modern.However upon entering our room we realised none of the plug sockets were working, meaning we couldn't watch the TV, use the kettle or charge our phones. Our phones had all of our tickets on so this made our trip incredibly difficult. We informed the staff of this at 6pm but when we returned to the hotel at 10pm nothing had been done to fix the issue. We also mentioned this to staff in the morning when checking out but no compensation was offered which is disappointing.

Excellent service, friendly and attentive. Clean and comfortable. We had a slight plumbing problem that was immediately rectified and we were given a fabulous breakfast by way of apology, an unexpected gesture and very gratefully received.

I stayed here for 3 nights and had some of the best nights sleep I’ve had in ages. The staff were amazing. Friendly, welcoming and helpful are just a few words to describe them.Location is great, very close to tube station. If I’m in the area for work again I would definitely return.

The hotel is very clean, the rooms are OK. Prices are very high for what you get but it's London so it's normal. Very good location, next to Stepney green tube station. You have to pay for WiFi, only 30 min free. They do provide coffee and tea in the rooms. The shower gel was mixed with water so no good, take your own toiletries. The rooms are cleaned only once a week but they do help if something happens and you need it clean earlier. The breakfast is not great, I couldn't really eat the fry up but there are other options.
