Harlyn Surf School

Best. Day. EVER.I went on an hour and a half beginner surf lesson with my mate who had never been before. I had been before on a couple of occasions but had never stood up.The instructor Florrie was great and made the whole time safe and fun, whilst being a great instructor.I managed to stand up for the first time and me and my mate had a great time!It was just absolutely amazing to be back out on the waves again. Just a great time. Would recommend to anyone whether beginner or looking to improve their surf technique.(Apparently I also had some great wipeouts!)

I made a last minute reservation with Harlyn Surf school, unfortunately we were no able to make the session on the morning. I called on the morning before the session and someone picked up the phone and mentioned that it was okay and to send an email and the manager will respond.More than a week later I have still not heard anything back on how to proceed.When I walked up to their location on the beach the team that worked there gave me the impression that this has happened before and that the manager/owner is not responsive.I can't review whether their surfing lessons are any good or not, but in general it all seems unprofessional and poorly managed and I feel scammed.

Had a great lesson with Jacob. Join the beginners but had a chance to practise what I already knew. Great tips from Jacob for when I go out on my own foamy.Waves were small but strong, perfect for learning!! Very foggy, but didn’t stop us. Looking forward to coming back next year.

Absolutely brilliant experience from talking to the guy in the shack on the beach at the start of week, to booking on line and then the actual lesson itself with Marie and Florrie. Good equipment (boards and suits), great initial tuition on the beach beforehand and then amazing support in the water. Maria even got me up on my feet (although still holding the board) which for anyone that knows me is quite impressive within the first 90 mins. The beach at Harlyn is also great. Lots of sand, warmish clear water and with decent waves! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to try it for the first time or for more advanced lessons!

Had the most fabulous SUP Lesson at the beautiful Harlyn Bay. The whole team were really nice and approachable.Chris our instructor, was brilliant, really friendly and encouraging. Supported and encouraged the children. Had a great time, lots of laughs - highly recommend. Thank you Chris.

First Time CoasteeringWe are a family group of adults, celebrating a birthday. We loved the whole experience, some of us were more nervous than others, but the instructors were kind and friendly and everyone had an amazing time. The instructors were enthusiastic and you felt safe in their knowledgeable hands. We highly recommend Harlyn Surf School, we have used their services many times before and they never disappoint. Keep up the good work guys :)

We enjoyed a fabulous paddle boarding lesson today with Marie and Kat. They were kind, calm, and gave clear instructions. We had fun, learned a lot ,and felt safe with their guidance. I recommend taking a lesson with Harlyn Surf school.

Had our first SUP lesson today with Chris and Joe. Loved every second! Fantastic instructors that were so helpful and patient, really made our experience. Amazing memories made. Would highly recommend.

My first experience of paddle boarding and it was fantastic. Chris, the instructor, was brilliant - helpful tips throughout to get the best out of the experience but also let us have loads of fun. A very pleasant afternoon spent on the Camel Estuary - would completely recommend this to anyone wanting to give SUP a try. Cheers.
