Not sure the point of their guarantee when you have to pay for them to come out. We're just over a couple of years into a new build home where Bellway chose to have them do all the windows & doors. Had so many problems but the latest is the patio doors will not open at all. Asked them to come sort it and told we need to pay £110 for a call out. A call out?! The door literally won't open. It's outrageous! We rarely use the door, so it's faulted by itself. Honestly the only negative thing about our house has been windows/doors

Very poor experience from a new build where Munster Joinery supplied and fitted all the windows, doors, and canopies. They were all very poor quality and required respraying. One large window was so far tilted back that the expansion foam was clearly visible. So the whole window needed to come out and be refitted, which caused lots of damage to the walls/reveals.

Bought a Persimmon home with Munster Windows fitted... Poorly and wrongly fitted windows. Persimmon customer care doing there best to get things rectified but Munster not even interested in sending a supervisor to my home to inspect the faults. If I was a large scale company looking at contracts, I'd dodge this one and have advised the contracts manager at Persimmon homes to give this company a wide berth on any future contracts. One star is one too many.

Boeing's prime contractor... because any door installed by them WILL bow! I never knew my new build house will have a spontaneous panic room function when a door installed by them spontaneously refused to open and unlatch.Their latching mechanisms would have been handy on Boeing 747s.At least they fail safe in a locked position, so that merits 1 star at the very least.I guess it's why all the house builders run to these guys.

Absolutely disgusting. 10 year warranty if you have condensation or if the frame has moved. Not if the door is faulty or broken. New build by persimmons. How any housing developer can use this company is beyond me.

Completely slippery company with no morals. Their windows have a 10 year guarantee - see the guarantee photo below, then when you try and claim against this they run a mile. Our windows never fail - you have broken the glass' We had a unit that exploded with no-one in the house. See photo. Their paperwork and web site say they will replace - but the reality is they will not. Firstly they ask for a £75 call out non refundable charge. Then when you say this is not on the T & C's they say that our windows never fail - so why offer a guarantee. They are really not to be trusted and they are immoral. It is clear that they do not care"

August 2023Munster joinery windows use cheap materials and glass in my house has shattered. This was covered under the NHBC as it was within their 2 year warranty, yet Munster didn’t want to know. I have a child with learning disabilities who does not understand dangers and this glass was sharp and left like this, despite my justified pleas to help us. This seems to be a common and ongoing theme judging by the other reviews including the trust pilot reviews. We can’t all be wrong can we Munster?

If you can please stay away from this company. Our new build as well as many neighbours new builds have issues with the window and door opening mechanism. Our front doors latch just fell off while the door was closed and we will need a locksmith as MJ ask for crazy money to come and fix their own faulty, not fit for purpose product. Also shame on all the builders and developers using them still.

Purchased triple glazed windows from Munster joinery, units failed within 12 months due to a fault with the window. Munster joinery would not replace the windows. Do not use Munster joinery, after sales service is non existent and they do not reply to phone calls/emails. Disgraceful company. STAY CLEAR!!

Stay away! The end to end process is very poor. The product is average. You simply wish for things not to go wrong but they consistently do.
