An altogether unsatisfactory experience. The Librarian/Archivist was strikingly rude via email. Sent funds for the requested document and did not hear back until 10 days later, when I approached the Society again to confirm whether the payment (which was transacted via PayPal and should have been instantaneous) had cleared. An extremely grainy photograph (not even a printout or digital scan) of the requested document was provided, taken at low resolution on a mobile phone. When questioned as to the microfilm number of the document so that I may procure a decent quality scan myself, my question was twice ignored. I have never had such an unpleasant, discourteous experience with an archive in all of my years of genealogical research.

I went in search of some family history, the kind lady who went out of her way to assist me was a gem! A brilliant archive.
