Cemaes Butchers

To the reviewer who left one star , tell me, if the sausage rolls were burnt and hard, uncooked in the middle and inedible, surely you wouldn't have eaten them, therefore you wouldn't be expecting food poisoning. Cemaes Butchers cooked foods are always of the same high quality as the meats they sell. Your review is a fake review obviously

Visited this amazing butchers on Thursday 12th August, and bought sausage rolls and a pork pie. Which were all mouth watering good, the staff in the butchers very friendly. Also on the way home picked up burgers and chicken kebabs for dinner which were also fantastic.

Walked in as closing and asked for some lamb cutlets.Freshly cut cutluts.....pleasure to serve my desperate needs and made me feel as if I had been his first customer of the day.My recommendation is to.......never preempt your menu by buying from supermarkets prior to arriving in cemaes for your meat menus ..,.there is top quality and service at hand on the high street. We use the butcher's whenever in Cemaes, because when it's gone......it's gone. As is the case in so many villages.I have pre- ordered for large breakfast ingredients the day before......and a bag of my needs have been ready for me to collect at ease the morning after.In the words of my good lady....the lamb cutlets.....were 'of the old times' meaning quality and flavour.Thank youTrevor

Sausage rolls burnt and hard, they were practically inedible, not even hot. I told the butcher about this and he wouldn’t acknowledge that anything was wrong with them and did nothing to satisfy me about this, no refund or anything. Awful! Feel as though I will have food poising tomorrow, horrible.

Quality, that’s the word that comes to mine, and we were so impressed that we travelled from Rhosniger to Camaes bay to collect out meat for the BBQ, The butcher isn’t very talkative but he is a busy man but don’t let that stop you trying the wonderful meat out, you will defiantly want to return.Marc A TurnerWarrington Based Artist

I have just had the best piece of lamb shoulder I have ever eaten - tender, full of flavour, fell apart in my mouth. This is the highest quality, fresh meat, from the lamb cutlets to the steak to the bacon to the sausages with seaweed. Butchers this great are few and far between; it’s tempting to make the three hour drive back there to get some more. Pleasant fellow too. Do please support him.

We have just eaten the tastiest Welsh lamb joint every. Totally beautiful. It cooked beautifully. Thank you.

Love the sausages from here so much we brought some home both times we visited this year. We also brought home lamb chops. I don't eat lamb but my husband rated them very highly.

The tastiest sausages we have had for a long time.We can recommend the seaweed and also the pepper Sausages. We will be back k soon
