MINT Equestrian

Two years on following a fall resulting in a new hip, I decided to bring my horse back into work. After having said horse checked from head to tail to rule out any pain issues I got in touch with Jenna from Mint equestrian. Jenna did a lot of ground work with us using her Mint training techniques, with amazing results. I am now back on board, something I thought would never happen again. Jenna inspires horse and rider alike.

Cannot recommend Jenna @ Mint Equestrian enough! Her whole approach to horsemanship is second to none, what she doesn't know about horses and how to understand them isn't worth knowing! I contacted Jenna to help me with my mare Tilly, Tilly is super sensitive with being in and out of season a lot, can be very strong and excitable. I knew Jenna's approach (no harsh training) would help me understand Tilly's behaviour both on the ground and in the saddle. I thought Tilly and I had a really strong bond before working with Jenna, but now it is at a whole other level. Tilly is no longer distracted by what is going on around her, she is constantly listening and reacting to my gentle que's through my body language and words and is so much more relaxed. The confidence this has given me is unreal. Gone are the heavy tack aids I thought I needed to control her, a simple snaffle and a looser rein is all that is needed. I come out of every lesson with Jenna absolutely buzzing with what Tilly and I have achieved. There is no such thing as a 'bad' horse, just a horse that is misunderstood and this is where Jenna can step in :)

I reached out to Jenna because I have a green 5yo thoroughbred mare, whom Jenna already knew from years previous. Jenna has been working with us at a pace suited for us, she has taught me so much already about my mare and my confidence with her has boosted so much and our bond is 10 times stronger. Jenna brings a different element to the lessons that is rare to find, she teaches with so much respect to the horses 15/10 would highly recommend.

Highly recommend MINT. Jenna is absolutely amazing and gentle with the horses. Her lessons are fantastic too and she explains everything so well. I trust her completely with my horse
