I had my dog groomed here for the first time this week, even though he was highly agitated the staff were very accommodating asking me to come back for an early appointment when there were no other dogs waiting.Katy then took her time keeping Dexter calm and doing a top rated job!Bottom line is, cracking job and very friendly staff!

After years of trying to find a groomer for our dog that is terrified of water, we have finally found these amazing people that managed to deal with our girl. They did a fantastic job on her and also our long haired kitten, that doesn't really like to be groomed. We will definitely be back and highly recommend! Thanks so much again guys x

In response to the review from Sam GreyMs GreyI read you negative and untrue review about me on Google Reviews. This review is defamatory and libellous. You stated you were ‘disgusted with their service’. Quite frankly myself and my colleagues were disgusted that you allowed your poor dog Ted to become so dreadfully matted. With good care and regular brushing from yourself mats can be avoided. Mats cause an awful lot of pain and discomfort for dogs.I explained to you, because of the severity of Teds mats in his ears and tail that brushing them out – which is what you wanted, would cause unnecessary pain and discomfort for Ted. This fell on deaf ears and you were insistent that these mats be brushed out. During the groom, and us trying to brush these mats out of Ted’s ears, he was in so much pain, screaming in pain and crying, I was not prepared to continue ‘brushing out’ due to the level of distress Ted was experiencing. I did not want to further distress Ted. I suggested that I clip the mats out, but you were insistent that this is not what YOU wanted.I take great care with every dog I groom. Their safety and well-being is paramount to me. When I tried to brush the mats out of Ted’s ears and tail as you requested, Ted was crying and screaming and clearly distressed and in pain. I was not prepared to subject poor Ted to any further distress.I am a qualified Groomer and I know what is best for the animals I groom. I certainly do not want to cause pain. Some other groomers clearly do not have my caring work ethic.You did not complain about the groom at the time which was on the 19th May, but you brought him back the following day. Again I was unable to de-mat effectively because you would not agree to the most ethical and humane way of dealing with the mats which would be for me to clip them out. Upon leaving on the second day you informed me that you liked the way I had groomed his head and you told me and my colleagues that he looked nice and you were happy. There was no indication that you were unhappy.Myself and my colleagues were polite, courteous and accommodating. We listened to your requests and we tried to act upon them, even though Ted was clearly in pain with the mats in his ears and tail.Every review I have had has been a 5 star review. Your review is unfair and untrue. I would like you to remove this negative review with immediate effect. I have already sought legal advice and she has informed me that I am well within my rights to bring a claim against you for Defamation of my Professional character and loss of future business earnings. This, I will do if this review is not removed immediately.Katy

We brought our two rescue German Shepherds last week and we were very impressed with the professional and caring attention that we and they received. Thank you.

We take the cat here once every couple of months or so. £20 for a full groom. Very friendly and high quality service. Recommended.

Just had my dog done here, staff are very friendly and my dog looks a lot more comfortable. They’ve done a great job. He has a dry skin problem and just came off steroids but his skin already looks 10x better just from going there (they use aloe Vera so probably soothed it for him) They also told me you’re not supposed to clip a border collie, but since he’s had it done twice at a different groomers already they accommodated and did what I asked for... had I taken him here in the first place I would have trusted their judgment but as I said, he’d already had it done twice before. Thank yous very much.

It’s really hard to find pet services who are good with cats. Katy is amazing, took my young long haired cat in for his first groom and he came out relaxed, clean and tidy. Highly recommend Katy and her team for cats as they have a wealth of cat knowledge.

We have had our new puppy to lady and the tramp groomers for the first time today. Katy and her staff are lovely and excellent, they settled lola and she came out Happy looking gawjuss and smelling lush... I have used Katy with our other dogs and will continue in the future 5 star .
