We recently moved to Bristol and James has done a number of pieces of work for us now as we get our new house sorted out. He has fitted a new doorbell and postbox, painted our front door, renovated our under stairs cupboard, fitted new exterior lights and a number of other things. In all cases James has done excellent quality work for the price agreed in advance, and we will definitely be using him again in future. James is also a polite, friendly and professional person, and a pleasure to have in the house. Recommended.

We used cj home maintenance to remove our large hedge and erect a wooden fence. James used concrete posts and base boards to make the fencing secure. We were really pleased with the excellent work he did.James did a fantastic job and we wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.

James has done various jobs for me over the last year - chiselling out brickwork to then enable him to mortar in cast-iron air-bricks, boxing in various pipes and cables, and helping to resolve a front door that kept jamming. He and his colleague have always been friendly, with works completed quickly and well, and with great communication throughout. Looking forward to seeing them for the next job I need done (fixing a floor joist) in (checks calendar) about 2 weeks

Excellent service from James and Caroline. Prompt, efficient and left the kitchen tidy, having completely repainted the walls and ceiling. It looks brilliant. We're very glad, we have found James and have already booked him in for 2 other jobs.

We hired James and his partner Tim to rip out our hedge and put up a fence. They were very professional and the fence is set with concrete posts and very sturdy. We also hired them to come back and build our shed and again, very prompt and professional. I should note this wasn't an easy job as of where we wanted the shed put up. But they looked at the situation and decided the best course of action to get the shed up and safely. Had no problems with any work James has done for us.

I contacted CJ Home Maintenance early this year regarding various work that needed to be done, having read some very good reviews. James has since insulated the loft and successfully carried out repairs to the garage roof which was leaking badly in several places. Both jobs were carried out promptly and to a high standard. We have agreed on other work that needs to be carried out in the near future. James is a multi skilled professional and I would not hesitate to recommend him.
