I had my ICL treatment under Mr Hamada at the London Cataract Centre and Focus Clinic one week ago. I am absolutely thrilled with my treatment. Mr Hamada gave so much of his time to ease my fears and answer my (many) questions thoroughly before deciding on the right treatment for me. I was not suitable for laser treatments due to autoimmune disease, high prescription, and dry eyes. I was initially unsure about ICL as I was worried it is more invasive compared to the laser surgery, but I could not be happier, and I am glad I trusted Mr Hamada. He wants the very best for his patients and I felt reassured I was choosing the right option. I am a doctor myself and have been so impressed by the care and attention everyone at LCC and Focus have given me, I know I am in safe hands. I am delighted to have better than 20/20 vision and excellent recovery on my 1 week follow up today. Also special thanks to Lesya and the rest of the optometry team who have been so helpful and caring - nothing is too much trouble. Thank you so much.

Very professional team from start of the process at Focus to refractive lens replacement ,performed at London Cataract Centre. All the staff are lovely and put you at ease Mr Hamada is first class and I highly recommend this Team. Don’t be afraid to treat yourself to new eyes here.

I am so happy with my choice to go here for my surgery. The process was easy, well explained to me and they all put me at ease on the day of surgery! I was so nervous beforehand but was in the right hands and wouldn't choose anybody else to have my surgery with. I cannot recommend Dr Hamada enough, he has done a brilliant job on my surgery and the aftercare is amazing!

I recently had Refractive Lens Exchange surgery at the London Cataract Centre and it could not have gone smoother. Everyone was so incredibly helpful and attentive, it really did make the whole process so much more pleasant and calming. Would highly recommend.

Samer Hamada and his team were brilliant from start to finish. I had the LRP done Saturday morning and and by Sunday morning at my check up I was told that my vision was 20/20. It was wonderful to see without glasses after 46 years! My near sight took a little longer coming back but today I am able to do this review. It was also very reassuring to be given Mr Hamada’s private number if I needed immediate help in the first 24 hours.
