This used to be a good surgery but they have new receptionists who have really bad attitudes and always refuses to give out appointments ! Ive been calling since 7.30 this morning and just got through now at 10.15 to be told my autistic non verbal son can not be seen and ill have to call 111 at 6pm. This is also the same dr surgery who told my mum she wasn't considered poorly enough to be sent for a scan in her spine while we was inlock down although they knew she had lung cancer and it had actually spread, the dr dealing with her asked her if she would like antibiotics instead of rushing her in for scans. Absolutely usless!!

The receptionist is very very rude. She will not listen and she will end the call on you. She will not ask you what’s wrong with you and if she does, she will tell you to go on the website when you can’t do nothing is not explained very bad very disappointing. Will definitely change my gp.

I'm writing a quick review just to provide some contrast with the many negative reviews on here. I've been using this GP surgery for about two years, and in that time I've found it quite straightforward to book both GP and nurse appointments, and have had no issues with any of the reception staff. Admittedly I've never had to deal with any particularly complex medical issues with any of the GPs, but the appointments that I have had have met my expectations and I haven't had any major problems.I imagine there are many other satisfied local residents who use this GP surgery, but of course, people who are very unhappy are much more likely to write a review than those who are satisfied.

Obstructive and rude receptionist team manager is same .Dr was OK with me , delay for appointments but seems everywhere the same , very hard to get trough receptionists specially this one one with a tendancy to be aggressive and has an attitude issue.

Patient of 10+ years, always found it an inconvenience at how difficult it is to get through reception to speak to a GP, but now it seems the Practice Manager is potentially making decisions without consulting the GP, which again I stress, you ‘the patient’ are not able to speak to the medical professional responsible for your care to discuss this with. This is my personal experience and find it highly unlikely that I will be alone in this matter.Register at a different practice, one which knows what it’s doing! This one feel like there’s a lack of knowledge on the NHS in general.

Receptionist staff are not only rude but incompetant. I booked an appointment with a GP 3 weeks ago, was told it would be a phone call in the afternoon. When the day of the appointment arrived it they called in the morning so I missed it and it was a nurse practioner not a GP as I had specifically asked for. When I called back the receptionist was very rude, practically accused me of lying, and said I'd need to wait another six weeks if I want to see a doctor.I don't mind waiting to see a GP but I do mind being lied to and then treated with utter contempt by staff. This isn't an isolated incident either. My mother uses the same GP and she's had similar rudeness and incompetance from them before.

No care from this surgery at all Rude staff and Doctors who never help or provide the correct services. I will be requesting a full investigation into this surgery and looking to move to a better surgery!

This surgery, like all surgeries, has had its issues over the past year or so but I have to say they seem to have got back on track. Appointments readily available and polite staff. Even if you can't get seen that day the staff go above and beyond to help resolve your ailments. We'll done to all.

I've always found the receptionists polite and helpful and have been able to get appointments when I've needed one. I've seen the nurse several times and the doctor once or twice- they were very good when I was off work for a short period of time for mental health issues - they dealt with it very sensitively and gave me good and supportive advice.

In 2021 my grandmother passed away. In the weeks leading up to her death, Beeston Village Surgery took virtually zero interest in her medical wellbeing and refused to come out for a home visit. They also refused to reschedule a telephone appointment when she, a frail and unwell elderly lady, missed her phone call and called back almost immediately.Fast forward two years and it's more of the same with my grandfather. They have refused to schedule a home visit on several occasions and, to put it politely, are completely disinterested in his care or wellbeing. As a result, his practice was switched to another local surgery.Within one day of switching, a home visit was arranged with a doctor who attended and took a blood draw on the Friday just gone. On the Monday, results of the blood test were returned and he was immediately rushed to hospital via ambulance based off what they revealed. He is now very unwell.I encourage anybody considering registering at this surgery to think very carefully about the consequences of doing so; it has failed both of my grandparents. Those running this practice ought to be ashamed.
