Central Co-op Food - Sawbridgeworth
Great for buying a special treat, not for every day shopping due to the expense of products. But love going in to see products that you won't find in the big 3 Supermarkets. Staff are friendly. Reasonable range of G/F products, but not a great brand for these products, they could definitely do with a bit more research on this front.

1 star is generous to say the most. Evri drop off never working - staff can never seem to charge their scanner!!! Overpriced and unprepared.

Much better than Budgens, they have better choices (when they are in stock), the staff are a lot more friendly and helpful.

It’s absolutely not fair to combine the historic reviews of Budgens and the new Co-op. It isn’t the same shop. They are stocking considerably less local produce than Budgens and the Co-op prices are much higher.Even the basics like tomato sauce are 28% more expensive than the local sainsbury’s - see attached.

Lovely shop, but check out is always slow. They have 3 self serve tills, but 1 always seems to be not working. The ones that do work scan everything multiple times, so you have to get a member of staff to sort it out. This is usually someone else serving, so you either have to wait or interrupt them. It also doesn’t help that the staff on tills have to deal with parcel deliveries as well. It’s getting quite frustrating.
