Anyone in/around Dundee looking for a unique pair of glasses I can't recommend Spex Pistols highly enough. Really cool retro styles, some excellent priced options and top class customer service. Fast and personable even in current times :)

Lovely shop, friendly staff, saved my skin when I was having a real glasses emergency. I broke my frame and Spex Pistols was the only place I visited that was able to put my lenses into a new one. It was even done in the same day!

Excellent wee shop. Friendly and helpful with the best selection of spectacular spectacles anywhere. I 100% recommend a visit to this gem of a shop. Very interesting chats ranging from gin before breakfast to Scottish folk songs. I love it.

This is where I buy all of my glasses from. In the last 6 months, I've bought 5 pairs, as I've been so impressed by the quality and style of the glasses, and the very helpful staff at Spex. I used to study in Dundee and now live in London, but I buy my glasses from them because the store goes above and beyond. The service you receive is outstanding, and i cannot recommend them enough.

Bought two frames from here now and was even gifted a pair as a wedding present by the owner! Nothing is ever too much hassle (even with my ridiculous prescription). The shop itself is amazing and the staff are lovely. Will definitely by purchasing all my future spex from here too

Fantastic service, can't recommend enough. Got my first pair from them during the pandemic and they went above and beyond both to get the glasses to me and after when it needed repairs. Definitely will be buying all my glasses from here from now on!

Spex Pistols is my Dundee highlight. I 100% recommend visiting this optical boutique. They have the most amazing frames + so many cute little objects and souvenirs.The kindness of the staff cannot be put into words. You need to go to experience their beautiful energy.
