This is truly an incredible club. I struggle with dyspraxia and dyslexia, so I’m often not the easiest student to teach, but with the help of Kyoshi Paul Coleman, I have acheived my first dan ( black belt), and continue to be challenged and learn.Kyoshi Coleman alters his teaching style according to the student, and works with you, to help you improve. you will quickly realise that there isn’t anyone in the club with a large ego, and everyone is willing to help you. The club also has a fantastic social aspect, with training events, meals out, and numerous activities outside of the dojo. If you’re serious about martial arts, this is truly an incredible place to train.

Oxford Karate Academy stands out from other karate clubs due to its dedication to all students within the club no matter of age or ability! Passionate sensei's who always strive to improve with regular training in Japan! Oxford Karate Academy not only demonstrates fantastic training in self defence but enables you to become more fit and active, gain confidence all along with teaching good values throughout, especially with the younger students! Having been a member with my daughter for nearly 4 years I could not recommend it more. So much fun, fitness, learning and becoming part of a second family with many extra activities for members to enjoy and bond together. Always team OKA!
