Plymouth Yacht Haven

Friendly staff and good security for your boat. Well kept ways clean and tidy, facilities are brilliant best marina showers and wash rooms on the South west coast. Also washing and dryer facilities provided for clothes etc.

This was my first visit and it looks really nice. Only a four until I have more experience of this venue

Really very nice marina with superb facilities. Best showers on the south coast for sure. Boatyard is very helpful with a handy chandlery and cafe. The Bridge restaurant is nice but a little expensive. We paid by 48 per night for a berth (11.5m) sailboat

The showers are excellent, offering individual cubicles equipped with quality shower facilities, an area to change, and in some cases, a wash basin. There are also several good dining options within walking distance. 2 min walk to good chandlery.

Excellent facilities. Helpful staff. Very clean and tidy. Great showers. Easy access. Great location for sailing to both Devon and Cornwall. Although surprised that chandlery wasn’t open on a Sunday - even for basic like butane gas.

I came in tonight for fuel as my usual place for fuel was not serveing. So glad I did, my every need was attended to by Ian who went well above the call of duty to make sure I had everything I needed and welcomed me to use any other facility’s I may of needed. Awesome 5*

As a delivery skipper for Halcyon Yachts I have been to Plymouth Yacht Haven lots of times. On my most recent visit I was there to deliver a new rib to Falmouth. The rib was not in the haven but upstream at the quay. One of the super friendly staff at PYH gave us a lift to meet the owners. Fantastic - thank you!

Excellent service in the restaurant! Not far from the Mount Barton Hotel! With a small but very good café in-between the boat repair sheds! They all do excellent meals and give personal service to all in as much as they treat you with respect and seem genuinely interested in you! I have an allergy to milk and the staff ensured that there was no cross contamination! I believe that there is also a small museum in the harbour and I walked from there to the small village near by ! This had other amenities that where more than adequate to fulfil all your needs!

We were based here about five years ago and loved it then. We are now back with our boat and have been delighted with how friendly and supportive all the staff have been. Our boat came out of the water for sandblasting and epoxy protection. Not an easy task, the shore staff were fantastic, assisting wherever they could to allow me to get the job done. Friendly in a way we have not experienced before. We have experience of many marinas. Whilst working on my boat I witnessed their first aid training in action as another boat owner had fallen off his swim platform and smacked his head.(he is ok now and his early treatment will have contributed to a happy outcome!) Most impressed and certainly confidence giving. Well done Steve, you have some very good and caring people, and a cracking marina.Special thanks to Vicky, Ian, Rory, Rich and Steve Cox.
