Always friendly with good service

Normally, apart from a couple of minor incidents I get great service from this Pharmacy, however, when picking my repeat meds up last night after work it transpired that over half were missing including an antibiotic which I needed to take today.Upon contacting the pharmacy this morning, a member of staff stated that they would probably be approved and be available today.It was only after I corrected her that they'd already been approved and should have been there that lo and behold they were found.Now, if I made a mistake at work, and I work in IT so it's not an industry where people depend on me for their health, however, if I did make a mistake I would apologize immediately and correct the situation.The only thing this staff member corrected was my pronunciation of one of my medications which were missing.Her attitude was an absolute disgrace and if her manager is reading these reviews then I might suggest a refresher in customer service.I have to say it's a sad reflection that common courtesy has to be trained into someone.

My daughter went to collect her medicine from this chemist. They said that they have given it to another patient and had no more in stock. Sent her to the other Avenue Chemist in Dundas Street Sunderland to get it from them. They did not know why she had been sent there. They said she would have to pay for it again as they were having to take it out of their stock. She refused and eventually they gave her one bottle of medicine, and said she would have to come back and collect the other bottle. She asked if they could deliver and after another confab they decided that they could deliver it. They tried to deliver it to wrong address and when driver was told where she lived he said OK will deliver there. But no he didn't even try the correct address and took back to chemist. Daughter has now had to go and pick it up. No apology from anybody in the two chemists . Thus is an abismall customer service.

Used this pharmacy for a while now and can honestly say, they are brilliant. Staff are always so kind and welcoming, as well as always being willing to help. No problem/issue is too much for them and they never make you feel like a nuisance. One of the best pharmacies in Sunderland! x

Brenda and jack were great. I’d struggled to find an item on my prescription, I called ahead to check stock and Brenda was really accommodating. When I arrived shortly after my item was ready and the service was great, a really personal and friendly service. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area!
