Ryecroft Health Centre

I had to visit here yesterday (Friday 17th Dec 2021) due to breaking my tooth and needing attention. When I say I am completely petrified of the dentist its an understatement... As soon as I arrived there was nothing more these lovely people could do. I was greeted at the door and immediately pointed out my Dad's car (Yes I'm 31 but needed a lift) and stated he was there is I passed out, was sick etc. The nurse was lovely, remembered the car. I explained I was nervous. There was only a small.wait but in this time I'd managed to work myself up. I was a mess. The dentist and her assistant were amazing!! They were caring, considerate and compassionate. I knew I'd have to have the tooth out but hearing it set me in to panic mode. She talked me through everything, managed to calm me as much as she could. She wiped wiped tears when it was finished, rubbed my hands and was absolutely phenomenal. I felt woozy after and rather shaken, the nurse took me all the way to the car and made sure I got in OK. I am beyond greatful to these people and how quickly I got seen. I hope they all read this and have a wonderful Christmas, they deserve it!!!

The dental doctor was fab for my son with special needs .. so were the nurses too..topDental doctor made me and my son feel at ease

Took my daughter here 9 years ago as i was concerned about her behaviour felt that something wasnt quite right, the doctor at the time sat her down got his phone out and put a game on and because she didnt move he said there was nothing wrong with her! My daughter is now being diagnosed with autism and adhd!! Nothing wrong with her!!!!!! Awful ive had to deal with my childs outbursts and helping her get through life and watch her struggle with school think that this was normal, when she could of been given help from the age of 2!!!

So, I am terrified of the dentist and had really bad teeth, I was referred her by my dentist some months ago, to have about 12 teeth removed. Today was my last day of treatment here, and I have to say, THANK YOU. I don’t know whether Jo and all the staff know how much of a difference they make to their patients lives. I was always treated perfectly and in such a manner as to put me at ease. If Carlsberg did dentists, it’s this one. Thanks Jo, and everyone involved in the amazing care given by all.x

rubbish appointment booking system. phone lines never open on time, i've put off seeing the doctor for nearly a year because its that much of a mess about. half the times i've rang to ask for an appointment i've been told no

It's a nice little place kept clean and tidy

Well what can I say, I went to see Joanne here on Wednesday, I had been to see serval dentists for the last 5 month all telling me I would have to wait for the hospital to remove a broken tooth. I was so poorly by the time I saw her, from having infections constantly, to being in agony all the time, lack of sleep, lack of eating, by the time I go there I was desperate for help. No Joanne could have said the same as all the other denist, but instead chose to help me. She knew the tooth in question was going to be extremely tricky to remove, and let me tell you it was, an 1hr and 45mins it took to remove, but Joanne persevered and did it. I am terrified of the dentist and I have PTSD which causes me to have attack where I don't know where I am, but Joanne was just amazing and dealt very well when I did have a small attack in her chair. Iv got to admit I can't remember much from the last bit of the procedure. I am and will forever be indebted to Joanne for helping me. You are truly and amazing person and I appreciate the help more then anything. I had my first night sleep in 5 month last night and I slept all day today all thanks to this lady. The assisting staff member who I apologise I don't know your name, you also were a very calm and hands on with me and helped me feel at ease. The Rycroft in general are an amazing practise with caring and kind staff. Thank you all.
