Awful service. Wrexham train couldn’t be arsed waiting and didn’t want to come back for us. The man working within the train office said he was sorting taxis out however only taxis for once company so any other we have to pay and cannot claim back. Absolute ridiculous. Waiting 2 hours for the next train or £65 for a taxi!!!! Don’t even want to put a star for this service but had to in order to post

Fairly large free Park and Ride facility with disabled parking directly adjacent to station (though as access to the platforms is via footbridge this isn't the ideal station for wheelchair users). Warm waiting room with ticket office inside and frequent trains to West Kirby, New Brighton and Liverpool.

Great parking here. Plenty of space, especially at weekends which was when I used this station. This station is in a good location for anyone wanting to travel into the centre of Liverpool and is at the end of the M53 motorway up the Wirral. Convenient if you're coming from North Wales, and areas close to the M56/M6 motorways. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and will make sure you get the best value tickets for your journey. Trains are frequent. I didn't look at the timetable and was still able to jump on a train within 15 to 20 minutes of arriving.

Open area station in the middle of fields and over the bridge to get to but has a manned ticket station not all night though and coffee machine

What a lovely man in the office. Me and my friend ventured out Christmas shopping. On our way home our train was delayed for a hour due to ice on the track. Joe and the other man (think his names pete) couldn't do enough to help. Made us hot drinks and put a fan heater on. Kept updating us on our journey too. Made what could of been a very unpleasant experience bearable with their kindness. Thank you so much guys...

Bought a ticket on trainline from Penyffordd to Liverpool. Normally I show the code to the member of staff on the train and he prints it off. This time he told me to use the machine once I arrive to Liverpool.At Bidston I asked a different member of staff at the service desk if he could print my ticked there. He said no and if I traveled without one I'd get fined. I was forced to buy a single even though I already bought a return. The gentelman at Bidston didn't show any empathy/understanding and simply pointed out that the other member of staff on the Pennyffordd - Bidston train was wrong, forcing me to buy another ticket.
