Beautiful hidden spot for a walk

5 mins walk from the office I can feel like I'm in the middle of nowhere. Seen squirrels, rabbits and even a deer a while back. Perfect for a lunch break escape.

I lived in Larches Road as a child in the 70s and this beautiful area was right on my doorstep via a gate in the back garden. It was magical and I wish I'd appreciated it more!

Lovey nature reserve, with in Durham city. Full of wildlife. Stunning woodlands and great for walking through.

It's right on my doorstep and only now I am exploring again. Lot of work done to improve walkways.But people do need to be careful uneven paths and some natural walkways some people may find hard to walk on.There is also paths need to open up and nolonger marked as public footpaths.There is a boards listing showing location, entrance, history and animals you might see which is great.There is few people walking around and say hello dogs or walking, but is isolated and some people may feel uncomfortable.
