The Ivory Lounge

My experience with The Ivory Lounge was fantastic and Emily was absolutely excellent, she was so friendly and accommodating. They had a gorgeous range of dresses to choose from and were very knowledgeable and able to offer advice. It was my first proper visit to a bridal shop and was nervous beforehand but thoroughly enjoyed my appointment, it was a lovely relaxed and fun atmosphere. I actually ended up leaving with an achey face from where I’d been smiling so much all afternoon, I’d highly recommend The Ivory Lounge.

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Emily for my try on experience this week. I had been to one other bridal shop within the city and felt that the service, kindness, individualised approach and overall professionalism was outstanding. I am yet to buy a dress, after visiting with friends from overseas, but I called my Mum instantly and asked her to visit Plymouth so we could return and I could do it all again with the possibility of a deposit going on one of the dresses! I would, hands down, highly recommend The Ivory Lounge as THE place to go. The store is absolutely beautiful, Emily was a dream and the dresses are all gorgeous. There were so many beautiful gowns to choose from and I fell in love with so many. I couldn’t be more complimentary of The Ivory Lounge.I can’t wait to return and I hope to see Emily again. This was the third bridal shop I went in to and the experience here was excellent.From the moment I arrived I felt comfortable, it was relaxed but professional at the same time. The viewing area is amazing with lovely gowns for you to put on in between dresses.So glad I found my dress here. Can’t wait for it to arrive.

I was really nervous to try and find my dress but I can’t recommend the bridal lounge enough. Emily was so helpful from start to finish. Really welcoming and made me feel like I looked fab in everything I tried on. I had a second appointment with another shop after and the service and experience didn’t even come close. I can't recommend this bridal boutique enough. Emily was welcoming and caring, providing me with advice every step of the way throughout my appointment. She took the time to listen to my thoughts and provided recommendations. On top the 5* customer service, there is a great range of bridal dresses and the boutique itself is beautifully designed!

We had a wonderful experience when we visited the shop last weekend for my daughters appointment. Emily immediately put at us at ease with her relaxed and friendly approach. She was super patient, unhurried and made it a great, fun experience. The range of dresses also gave us so many options to consider, I would definitely recommend⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had Lucy help me with my dress search, she was fantastic, I couldn't have asked for anyone better. She let me and my family look round the store, pick gowns, let me stay in the gowns a while to help me work out what I liked and did not like about them and at no point did I feel pressured at all to buy. She was friendly and welcoming and made me feel at ease. She made me feel wonderful. I'm on the more plus sized spectrum (between an 18 and a 20) with a large bust and I had no problem getting into the dresses, they had clips and a modesty covering for the back, so if your feeling a little apprehensive that their in store sizes run smaller than you then please don't worry. You get the store to yourself its totally private and the dressing stage is amazing. I'm so pleased to have found my dress with you guys its absolutely perfect!

After going through a fairly stressful time of finding a wedding dress I loved but the shop closing down with a little over a year to my wedding, my Mum booked us an appointment at the Bridal Lounge to start over. I could not recommend them enough. I was made to feel so comfortable and their knowledge on their dresses and the best styles that would suit me made me feel super confident and lifted my mood in what had been a very tricky week! Thank you so much for an amazing experience!

First wedding dress appointment, I was very nervous and had no idea what a bridal appointment was like had yes to the dress to go by.I cannot thank The Ivory Lounge enough, Emily was so helpful and really listened to what I liked and didn’t like from the dresses I picked till we narrowed down choices. No pressure at all. I Would definitely recommend the ivory lounge as it’s just you and your bridal party very private and personal touch to the appointment was amazing and the dresses are amazing quality so beautiful!! My nervous were calmed and I got to enjoy the appointment and the dresses 10/10!!

I am content with the service I received. Emily was very welcoming and she guided me very well. She assisted me in wearing a wedding gown while chatting about my interest in finding out the best style to be the best version of myself on my wedding day. In addition, the store provides you with different designer gowns hence it gives you an opportunity to try a different style.
