Santai Spa
Visited Santai Spa for the second time (evening spa from 6-9PM). The first time we visited, there were lots of loud people with smartphones around the pool area and jacuzzi, mainly from 6-7. Afterwards, when most were gone, it was a bit more peaceful and that's why we decided to give it a second chance one year later. We were pleasantly surprised that this time we had to sign a notice that informed us that no cellphones are allowed in the facilities. This new system made a difference and no one (except for one person) was using their phone! However, again when we entered the facilities, it felt like entering a public pool. People shouting, jumping in the pool, swimming laps, incessant loud talking etc. Not a relaxing sanctuary at all (which is the whole purpose). We are not British and have visited several spa's in the UK and found it to be the same everywhere. In general, Brits don't have spa etiquette at all. Apparently they think spa's are a place to socialise and laugh. So if you want to relax, it's not worth the money spent, you will come out frustrated. Just go to any spa on the continent instead. We don't want to give this spa less than three stars however, because they aren't responsible for people's rude behaviour. We do feel there is still room for improvement. You can't forbid people to talk but could gently nudge them to be quiet and respect others by hanging up signs that ask this - there was no sign that said please be quiet" anywhere. This could also be mentioned at reception when checking in.We also found that people were not using the towels provided in the sauna

Santai Spa
Great facilities and calming atmosphere. As spa facilities are limited to 18+, it means no children running riot. A good variety of free drinks on offer for facilities users, including coffee, hot chocolate, orange juice, apple juice. The staff were welcoming and happy to answer any questions. When using the spa facilities, guests get complementary parking, so if using the car park, ensure to validate parking ticket with the reception to avoid expensive parking

Been here with a friend and later purchased a package deal for mothers day 2018 and Santai Spa was fab both times. On first trip loved the facial and neck and shoulder massage. Staff were very welcoming and as it was a week day the spa was lovely and quiet and not filled to the brim. Good pool and loved the hotbeds. On my next trip what I had booked exceeded my expectations and the expectations of my mum who loved the entire day. Great food provided in the mothers day afternoon tea package (something I will book again), it really was worth it. The facilities were great, staff attentive and treatments spot on.

Birthday gift from my best friend and it was perfect. One of the best spas in and close to Birmingham. Absolutely recommend. The lake view and the jacuzzi was my favourite. Soothing vibes and not too busy!

Lovely day at the spaCould improve on not limiting time as you are paying hefty price for the day.I feel also what could be better is the massage. It was overpriced as I got 40 minutes instead of 50. I normally pay £20 for 1 hour for excellent massages and get them once monthly. I paid £90 today for 50 minutes but got 40 minutes. I do not recommend the massage as there are better massages out there for a fraction of the price and are absolutely divine.Massage pressure should be regularly checked with client and ask if they are comfortable with itThe room for massage was cozy. The masseuse was friendly and made the client feel at ease. FantasticSpa day we got robes towels and flip flops and there is complimentary drinks and fruits availableI really liked the idea of the relaxation room it was cozy.Jacuzzi and sauna temperature could do with it being slightly warmerYour parking is validatedYou also get nhs discountThe spa area was regularly cleaned, changing rooms were clean

Came on a spa day which included spa access 3 hours and afternoon tea for £50. The spa itself is new and well equipped. Although it’s small, they’ve made full use of the space. There are plenty of facilities and the outdoor hot tub is a great feature. The relaxation room could be a few degrees warmer that’s the only feedback I have. Afternoon tea in the restaurant was fab. Delicious food and nice views. I can’t believe how local this spa is; I’ll be visiting again!

Lovely little spa in the resorts world. We stayed at the genting Hotel so had spa access included. It got busy at times as only quite small but was still OK to get in all the facilities. We didn't book any treatments but will come back and book at another time. The pool and hot tub was lovely. Complimentary water and hot drinks are a nice touch. There aren't many loungers and people tend to either leave towels on for ages to reserve or move your stuff when you haven't been away for more than 10 mins.

The main receptionist was very helpful as she added my friend to the spa even if they were fully booked. Not all shower rooms have a body wash which is a must. Didn’t like the fact that people would use the jacuzzi for long periods of time without anyone monitoring fairly it’s use. There was one facility out of order and the refreshments were limited. Overall not worth it for 40£ don’t think I am returning.
