Acuitis Opticians and Hearing York

Popped in on student night tonight, very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. The deal on was amazing, will definitely be returning and buying soon. The idea of a student night is amazing, hope this is something that is carried on!

I’ve meaning to pop in to Acuitis ever since it first opened! I’m so glad I did - they have the most amazing range of glasses (stylish with lots of colour options, well priced, high quality etc). I ordered two frames on a Saturday and they were ready to collect on Tuesday! The service was also very helpful and friendly. Fully recommend

Visited recently and purchased two pairs of glasses. As someone who dislikes buying new specs (generally not keen on wearing them) I can say that I was delighted with my choice and the customer care. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with my purchase, and I never felt pressurised (as can be the case at other opticians!) They have a fantastic selection and I was actually spoilt for choice. Would recommend everyone gives Acuitis a go!

I couldn't recommend Acuitis opticians more for style, value, and customer service. When the London store closed, I worried I might have to give up my beloved Acuitis frames when I needed a new prescription. I needn't have worried: the branch in York has been able to help me twice by post with new lenses for my good old frames. The customer service I have received from Albert has been second to none. Thank you for the continuous gift of clearer vision, which I appreciate every day!

Friendly and professional service. Eye test was comprehensive and fully explained for all the family. Wide choice of frames and beautifully made. Staff were on hand with advice on choosing frames but didn’t feel any pressure and spent as much time as we needed. We’ve had ‘designer’ frames in the past but the craftsmanship of these is excellent.Great choice of finishes, styles and price range.

Walked into Acuitis just to browse for a new pair of specs.The store layout made it easy to navigate their very large range of frames, which are of excellent quality, and well-priced.We were approached in a very friendly manner by Ed, who was extremely professional & spent quite some time with us.I was happy to find a pair of specs I liked (after months of looking in other opticians & online).I was then dispensed very well by Megan-she knew exactly what she was doing, and explained everything, so all was understood easily.I was surprised to find out they did Zeiss lenses (which I went for)-the total for a quality frame & quality Zeiss lenses came to a fraction of the price, than if I had purchased elsewhere!A few days later, the specs were delivered to my home-well packaged & presented, and ready to wear (already adjusted to fit me at the time of dispense!)I then received a call by Robin soon after delivery, to check if I was ok with the specs-I'm extremely happy with them.I can’t remember the last time I received this good of a service at an establishment.I would definitely recommend as your place to go if in need of any specs or an eyetest!Acuitis York deserves the recognition! The best customer service and care. My glasses snapped and I needed an appointment as soon as possible to order new glasses ahead of a long drive to Cornwall in a few weeks time. I was able to get an appointment online easily. On arrival for my appointment, I’d had a hectic morning and felt quite frantic. The owner - Ed, greeted me and his calming presence made me feel relaxed. He showed me around the store highlighting glasses frames fitting the description of what I was looking for. The range of frame choice and colours is huge.I then headed in for my appointment with Michelle. She is fab! A total ray of sunshine and very professional. I was impressed with the technology used and the time taken to get my presentation right, nothing was rushed.Michelle then handed me over to Robyn to help me try on and select my new glasses. Robyn was incredibly patient with me. I find choosing frames hard when I’m on my own, she offered her opinion and helped me find frames that really suited me. She also straight away picked out a pair of sunglasses which I loved - she clearly knew what would look cool and what would suit me.Having explained my urgency for getting my glasses as soon as possible (currently being without an up to date pair), Robyn reassured me that I they would get them in as soon as possible and would be in touch once they arrive.Overall - exceptional customer service, beautiful store, huge range of glasses and sunglasses to choose from and I have total confidence in a perfect prescription and stylish, quality new glasses.Thank you Ed, Michelle and Robyn.

Brilliant service, having had eye tests since I was in primary school I can safely say I've never felt so looked after, Michelle was brilliant! The equipment and care was exceptional. I've always hated looking for frames but Ed helped me choose the best frames for my prescription, no pressure or rushing and I valued his opinion. You can tell the team have a great wealth of experience. I've not picked them up yet but have no doubt that they're going to be great!

This opticians is a dream. Extremely friendly, professional and joyful staff. Very thorough eye test making you feel like you aren't just another number. A plentiful selection of beautiful frames available. I personally valued the staff members honesty when trying certain frames on which didn't suit me. This is important. Also to add, a swift turnaround from selecting my glasses to being ready to wear. Can't recommend enough.

I came across this shop by chance whilst visiting York. The staff were both extremely friendly and helpful, and telephoned my local optician to have them send a copy of my recent prescription.My glasses arrived this morning, after one week and look and fit very well. They cost a fraction of the price I have recently paid in the Vision Express store.I would recommend giving this store the opportunity to fully meet your requirements and save yourself £££ (I have saved £160 on the glasses purchased from Vision Express
