Been to the showroom today and met both Marie and Rob, they were so helpful nothing was too much trouble. So glad we met them today Such a lovely experience today at The Wedding Rooms. We were made to feel so welcome & given expert guidance. Highly recommended!

I attended my brothers wedding in March, which was planned by The Wedding Rooms. Everything looked amazing, there were no problems throughout the entire day. Everything was perfect!In the run up to the wedding they were incredibly efficient and organised. They make you feel welcome and there is a great atmosphere in the shop.If I ever get married, I know where I'll be going!

Amazing. What more could I say. Marie is truly a gift from above. Marie has made this experience so wonderful. She has gone above and beyond. I can not recommend the wedding rooms enough. The service is better than any other and the quality is impeccable. Thank you marie! Rob you are wonderful too!

I’ve just come from the wedding rooms after one of the best days/experiences planning our wedding.Marie has gone out her way to help with anything and everything planning our special day and nothing has been any trouble. Marie your so warming and welcoming, it’s like working with family and so you don’t have to worry because nothing is too much trouble and she caters for all your needs and budgets. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done so far and I can’t believe how much you’ve helped us already. I feel so excited now and able to visualise our day after all you help. Such a special place.Nothing has been any trouble and Marie is happy to help with everything. When you hear that The Wedding Rooms does a bit of everything, they really do.From cars to flowers to dresses... photography... props... rings... the list goes on.I said yes to my dress today. I cannot thank Marie and Andrea enough for the fantastic service they provided for my large event at the weekend. The table dressings were beautiful, so many compliments!, as for the table plans, balloons and order of events, these were just amazing, I would not hesitate to recommend the Wedding Rooms to anyone, they are incredibly accommodating and have an amazing creative side to help add to your vision. Thanks so much for making it a very special and successful evening!.

Really disappointed in this shop the focus seemed more on upselling than actually making sure my wedding was what I wanted & a very over familiar non business like approach. The knowledge of the stock they had was limited so trying to get a definitive answer to my questions was impossible. There was a bride in there who seemed to be planning a large event & I got the feeling that as she was spending big she was their priority. I know it’s a business but surely every bride has the right to be made to feel special. Maybe I just caught them on an off day I’m sure the summer must be busy for them but it sure wasn’t what I’d hoped for

Would highly recommend to all. Service was everything you could expect and more and the decorations amazing. So many compliments and transformed the venue, results were simply fab. Massive thanks to Marie!

Thank you to all at the wedding rooms for a truly amazing day at Formby Hall 24th Feb. For turning a disaster with the wedding cake into a stunning creation and for looking after all the wedding guests, plans and finer details in a expert and professional way. Marie you are a legend. We booked Marie 2 years before our May 2021 wedding to provide chair covers, organza, gypsophelia, a post box and aisle runner. We had a number of appointments within those 2 years, none of which filled us with confidence as she never had the right documentation out and often talked about other options none of which were relevant to us. Our wedding got postponed to 2022, I contacted Marie a number of times to change the date due to no response, after several months we finally got the date changed. I had to chase a number of times for updated contracts, none of them were ever correct despite contacting on numerous occasions to have colours and quantities updated. The service and professionalism was really poor - despite Marie and her team coming across as really lovely people upon first meeting them so it was disappointing! Things went from bad to worse - for 3 months prior to our June 2022 wedding I contacted Marie via phone and email 10 times regarding when the final balance was due. I received no email response or telephone call back after leaving several answer messages!! The week before our wedding I received an email from Marie informing me that due to final payment failure she was terminating our contract (I had been contacting for a number of months asking for her to confirm when and how to pay the balance!!!). After several heated exchanges via email, Marie refused to take ownership of the diabolical lack of communication on her part. She turned the whole situation around on me and said it was all my fault that I didn’t communicate with her which is a lie! The way this business is run is ludicrous. I’ve since seen several reviews complaining of the same issues. Marie caused us a lot of stress the week before our wedding as it left us no time to find chair covers etc. but all worked out in the end as West Tower came to our rescue with their chivari chairs - thank goodness!! The Wedding Rooms Formby came highly recommended to us but I certainly will not be recommending to anyone else as the service we were provided with was extremely disappointing! Biggest piece of advice I can give anyone considering TWRF is think carefully before you make a booking…

EDIT - Please read my review on their Facebook page for the FULL story.have posted this review in the hope that it might make people a little more wary about dealing with The Wedding Rooms, Formby, in the future.Although Marie is no longer selling wedding or bridesmaid dresses I feel I should still warn people to be cautious about using her for their special day as she doesn't take responsibility when things go wrong and she lets you down when you need her, ignoring your calls and text messages.Things happen beyond our control sometimes but it's how they're dealt with that is a true reflection of a businesses integrity. In our experience, The Wedding Rooms have not been a reputable company to deal with and I can only hope that no other bride has to go through the stress and upset that Marie put me through in the run up to my wedding.
