Fast,friendly service and excellent cafe food. Burger and panini enjoyed but tuna mayo jacket potato was classic - hearty, simple food done well. Recommended

Impressively terrible in every way. Slow service, clueless cooking, dirty utensils, low quality ingredients. How a place so bad continues to stay open blows my mind.In fairness to them they refunded the abomination of a breakfast they served me without any question.Response: Thanks for replying to my review (I like chat GPT too, amazing bit of technology) For me, the assurances made would never get me back there to try your food again. With failures running from the food you purchase all the way through to how it's cooked and the cleanliness of the restaurant.However I wish you the best of luck with your business, thankfully a lot of people have low to no standards.

We went for breakfast today and I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was and with good variety too. The coffee was amazing. Not too posh and not too plain. It was just what we needed. A good coffee. Breakfast was served in good time and the quality of ingredients seemed to be decent.The staff were very polite especially the young lad who was approachable and had good manners. It is a nice, affordable caffee that I will definitely visit again.

EDIT - In reply to Owner - I've just checked with all my friends who visited, they have all confirmed they have not returned and do not plan to.A truly terrible experience this morning. A group of 7 of us arrived to a near empty cafe with only 1 table waiting on their food. 4 staff standing behind the counter, not quite sure why. Our orders, which were almost identical, came out sporadically across 30 minutes! One of our group had cold beans and black pudding, 10 minutes later when the next plate arrived the same issue. Cutlery was dirty, the lad behind the counter had more interest playing on his phone than reacting to the kitchen bell, the quality of food was poor and the slow service was beyond belief. Absolutely baffling

If I could give zero stars I would, first time coming here today (28/10) and saw they had gluten free options (coeliac). However, every restaurant is different so I like to double check, firstly I asked if the hash browns are gluten free as some are a may contain. A few minutes later the lady returned and advised she couldn’t tell if they were or not so classed them as not. I asked if the sausages were gluten free and she said no however they had vegetarian sausage. I then asked to see the packaging of the hash browns and she laughed whilst going to get them. I checked the ingredients and was told they are cooked on their own so I was fine to have them. When my breakfast arrived I noticed a think black hair underneath the eggs, I brought it to her attention and she stood there and inspected it for a long minute, I have blonde fine hair so no way was this mine. A new breakfast was brought out to me with an apology, however one of my fried eggs were undercooked. I had left that one and ate the other.If working in a food establishment then basic food hygiene and knowledge of allergies need to be taught. I used to work in hospitality and understood the seriousness of allergies and cross contamination, however there was no knowledge of this. Although the server did know 100% that the jacket potatoes were gluten free. If you have any food allergies I WOULDN’T recommend eating here as the lack of knowledge when it comes to allergies isn’t reassuring in the slightest. Hairs in food happen time to time that can be sorted easily, but not so easy to make better after making someone ill based on the lack of knowledge and basic training. Also, the presentation of the eggs didn’t look appetising, microwave isn’t everyone’s friend, especially eggs.

3 of us went for breakfast, pretty empty so we thought it would be quick. My breakfast came out with half of it missing after about 20 minutes, I enquired about the rest of it and my plate was taken away, my plate came back a few minutes later with the missing items still missing. After asking again they were bought out on separate plates and in no great rush. My black pudding was stone cold and raw, I asked to get it cooked and it came back 20 seconds later after a quick blast in the microwave. I didn't bother complaining about it any more because it was blatantly obvious that nobody really cared. The other 2 diners I was with had equally as shocking service and food. Avoid at all costs, god knows how this excuse for a cafe survives!!!

Great atmosphere for the Stony folk. Felt at ease ordering and their Indian brekkie is GORGEOUS. Staff were polite and careful and made sure customers felt welcome and cared for. :)
