The Chocolate Box Hotel

Liked · Breakfast options and staff were friendly. The quotes on the hallway wall about chocolate were cute and location brilliant. Wifi and parking was great.Disliked · The room we stayed in called 'garden room' was disappointing. The bathroom, which I'd call a shower room, couldn't even wash my face over the sink as a glass shelf was soo close to the sink it was dangerous. The double bed was two beds pushed together, so (as a couple) it was uncomfortable as there was a dip in the bed. The bedsheets and towels smelt of food, this was because the laundry room door is open most times and the kitchen isn't far from here so the bedding, towels and hallway smells of food, which isn't pleasant. They should put plug in fragrance or spray air freshener in the hallway and wash the bedsheets with strong fabric conditioner. The room could be better with a mini fridge. The breakfast time is very early. On arrival (Friday) we were told our breakfast time was 8.15-9.15am. We were on holiday and wanted a break, but had to be up very early Saturday morning for this. On the Sunday morning we were woken by the cleaning staff who were making a lot of noise cleaning the room opposite ours and standing in the hallway and door of the laundry room. The breakfast could be improved with a dairy free milk and herbal teas being on offered.

We enjoyed our stay and the bed was comfy for sleep. However we had the smallest room and it was really only OK for 1 night this was right at the top of the building too and there was lots of stairs. The breakfast was definitely the best part though and the lady who served and cooked us our breakfast was really nice and attentive.

We stayed in the two bedroom Annex with the grandchildren. Bedrooms/Bathroom were clean and the beds extremely comfortable. Lounge/Dining/Kitchen could do with a deep clean. Stains on sofa and the kitchen was dirty (dirty cups, crumbs everywhere, milk in fridge was opened and someone's cereal and food in the cupboard). Lock on front door needs attention as it was really difficult to lock/unlock. We weren't offered breakfast so cant advise on that. We got an early check-in @ 12 which was fab. Parking a little tight but can't complain.

Very nice hotel. Spacious rooms. Comfy bed. Good location. Will hopefully be going back.

A lovely hotel near the town centre and the beach. Clean and cute rooms, tasty breakfast and good service. A wonderful small getaway for us!

We had a lovely stay with you for our anniversary break. The happy anniversary banner and petals were a nice touch.The complementary chocolates were lovely. The room was a nice size with air conditioning and complimentary toiletries in the en-suite toilet.The breakfast was great! Cereals, fruit, pastries and full English. I am gluten-free and this was no problem. Thank you.I would definitely stay here again and will highly recommend you to anyone heading to Bournemouth.

The Hotel, was spotless and warm.The room was spotless and had everything we needed.The breakfast was amazing.The young lady on reception was lovely and welcoming .Nothing was to much trouble for the staff.We will definitely return.It was an amazing stay, and would highly recommend.Thank you. X

Great night stay with all the chocolatethemes. Breakfast was lovely and fresh.

Had a fantastic 3 night stay. Leoni was very welcoming and friendly. Chocolate supplied was amazing, biscuits were also superb. Rooms beautiful and breakfast was very very tasty. Would highly recommend 10/10. We will definitely be back.
