Most excellent bed and breakfast. Comfy rooms, modern amenities, efficient, effective and fabulous hosts. To miss one of Paul's specials at breakfast would be a crime. The house is 10 minutes walk from where the Fringe gigs start so it's convenient and quiet at night which is important during the mad Fringe month.

Fantastic place to stay in Edinburgh. Easy travel or walk to the city centre. Accommodation spacious, clean, and comfortable. Superb individually cooked breakfast, including local and Scottish fare. Totally worth staying here.

John and Paul and Molli the dog were great. Paul is very enthusiastic and John is a little more mellow and together they make a caring and attentive team. The breakfast food was WONDERFUL. Not one bad thing to say. I would stay here over and over

Absolutely fantastic place to stay for a weekend with the extended family, can't fault the house, the Orangery is a brilliant place to eat and party, the media room is just what's needed if you fancy an hour on the sofa and the bedrooms are amazing and very comfortable with great en suite facilities in every bedroom... Tied with a short walk to the Royal Mile and Arthur's Seat it is the perfect place for a family get away.

My boyfriend arranged a little weekend getaway for us in Edinburgh and had booked us a room in this guest house. It was LOVELY! I really enjoyed my stay there - the room, the honesty bar, the breakfast.. and last but not least: our hosts. They made us feel welcome, and it felt more like a home than a hotel. Friendly, cozy place where we'll definitely return one day! Even the fact that our airline had lost my luggage (which I did receive in the end, when we were back in Geneva) didn't matter - everything was perfect. :)

This is simply the best B&B in Edinburgh. Thanks so much John and Paul you are the perfect hosts, we will definitely be back. Fabulous breakfasts and you even go the extra mile this morning with our fresh salmon bagels take away breakfast. We love 94Dr xxx

If there were 10 stars this would be the place! Paul and John are very gracious and hospital hosts. The homeade breakfast was the best that I have had in my 12 day visit to Scotland. Room was very comfortable and the guest house is in walking distance of downtown Edinburgh. Would love to stay there again for another visit.

Room with a view and an amazing place to stay. Minutes by cab or enjoyable 20 min walk into city.From the moment we arrived being greeted by Paul at front door with open arms to the time we left it was excellent. Paul and John were fantastic hosts, the breakfasts were 1st class!!
