Such a great Chinese take away. I honestly can't visit friends in Allanton without calling in for a special fried rice. Beautiful wee family ran business. 10 out of 10

Good Chinese takeaway. We return regularly. It can get busy at peak times.

I thought I would try this takeaway as it had not bad reviews and I had not had a good takeaway meal in a long time.We had bbq ribs as a starter. The meat on the ribs had all but dried up ( like some of those shrunken face cloths you pour water on and it expands ! ) unfortunately the sauce that had been poured on afterwards was thick and gloopy and could'nt quite penetrate into what dried meat there was on the bone. I gave one of the bigger ribs to my wee scottie dog. He looked at it then looked back up at me with a look that said ( is money really that tight ? ).We also had beef with ginger and spring onions. Now...... only some of the meat was tender enough to eat and some had a lot gristle and other bits were very chewy( and not the star wars chewy ! ) my wee dog once again got some of the beef after I washed off the sauce and he loved it , so not that bad...?We also got sweet and sour prawns.My eyes lit up when I seen the prawns, massive things.... But the prawns were not that big and were hidden in masses of batter.I presume the idea with all the batter is it keeps the prawns warm till you get home then you peel it off and find the prawns hidden somewhere inside ?Don't get me wrong the meal was cheap and I may just have got them on a bad day ?The young lady behind the counter serving is very nice and I could see everyone working hard as it is a busy takeaway !Also there was a drunk guy sitting on the bench waiting on his food who said the F$#king chips are F%@king stoating mate "..I think I should have gone for theF@$king stoating chips !I have giving three stars.One for being a Takeaway.One for being close by.And one for having seemingly nice chips."

Wouldn't go by this Chinese, tried so many diffrent dishes and each time I've been impressed. Staff are always friendly and particularly helpful with advice if you want to try something new. Been going here for years and always happy with the service.

This is my third visit passing through the village and on each occasion I have not been dissapointed with the quality of the food .great portion sizes and quality ingredients . On a personal note the salt and chilli chicken didn't have enough of a kick for me but hey I like it hot. Worth a visit if your passing through.

They do a delicious Singapore chow mein & Singapore fried rice. The staff are very nice. Great place.

First time that I've visited, I live in Law ,meals that I ordered were absolutely delicious. I will definitely visit again on my way back from work ☺

Best take away about meals always fresh love the beef curry and so reasonably priced
