Optical Express Laser Eye Surgery, Cataract Surgery, & Opticians: Leicester

I had LASEK surgery a month ago and it has been life changing. I had my initial consultation in Leicester and the staff were so lovely and reassuring. My surgery was in Nottingham and it was a really seamless process. Just a month after surgery I now have better than 20/20 vision which is amazing. If anyone is able to do it, I would really recommend it. I just wish I had done it sooner.

I had my appointments done with the Leicester team where Pretti and Bie were lovely and helpful very informative on the surgery and what to expect, had it done at Bridgewater in Manchester but the surgeon Mr Kiss who did a fantastic job. The only evidence I’ve even had the surgery in on paper, healed perfectly and nothing went wrong truly I was in good hands couldn’t have asked for any better than what I had

Visited Leicester optical express team. Overall would reccomend again.Pre-op care was great team is very forthcoming if the surgery is not for you and offers alternatives for what your goals are. Surgery does take a bit of travelling if it is not present in your city (Leicester does not have a surgical site). Surgery itself is not overly painful but does have some discomfort and can take up to a few days to adjust as your eyes settle. But in the hands of the great aftercare team, ask for Pretti. Great staff and aftercare advice and are pretty open for bookings especially on weekends.Overall great procedure with good care from everyone.

I had my eye surgery at Nottingham with Dr. Mughal in October and like others have said I wish I had it done years ago!My vision is completely perfect (previous prescription was -5.5) the surgery was simple and pain free. A few hours of watery eyes afterwards and fine after a good nights sleep.Big thank you to the team at Leicester branch for the before and aftercare especially optometrist Pretti she is a credit to the team!Five stars, would recommend to anyone :)

The best decision that I've made. I had contemplated having Laser eye surgery for about 4 years and kept putting it off. The consultation appointment went really well at Leicester Optical Express, I was seen by Pretti, who explained everything really well and was very warm and welcoming. I booked my surgery there and then, the team was so nice and found me appointments within 4 weeks. I had my Surgery at Nottingham Optical Express, the Surgeon Sajit, was really good, very professional and made me feel very comfortable. It was reassuring to know he had done these surgeries more than 45,000 times. The surgery (lasik iDesign) was very quick and took about 20 minutes, and I could see instantly. The after care appointments went well. I would definitely recommend getting Lasik done!

Having recently had surgery, it’s been life changing and the best decision I made, my only regret is not having it done sooner! I could not recommend the team at Nottingham and Leicester enough, very reassuring and thoroughly explained the whole process! Even during the procedure my surgeon Sajjad Mughal continued talking me through, and keeping me calm, and it does not take too long.Less than 24 later at my post op check, and I can see better that 20/20, thank you to pretti my optician in Leicester!Life changing treatment I would encourage anyone who is considering this

I decided to have Laser Eye Surgery so I decided to visit Optical Express at Leicester and had an amazing experience. Pretti was amazing and helped me through it and gave me all bits of information to guide me. After 24 hours of iLasik my vision is already 100% and I feel amazing. I had surgery at Nottingham but consultation at Leicester and I 100% recommend it if you are looking for laser eye surgery! In the space of 1-2 months I had everything booked and done and now I feel super happy. Thanks to Optical Express Leicester & Nottingham!

The team in Leicester, particularly Bie and Dr Pretti, were also super lovely throughout the pre and aftercare.I just had my one month post-op checkup today, and was told I now have better than 20/20 vision- amazing! Definitely the most life changing experience ever, the Leicester team were so kind and supportive. The optometrist Pretti made me feel comfortable in to taking this big step in my life. Thanks to bee for being understanding and helping me get a payment plan so it would be even more affordable for me. I had my surgery at the Birmingham branch and my surgeon was Sajid Mughal. He was the kindest fellow ever and I had no complaints and completely satisfied with the LASIK treatment he preformed on me. I’m very happy and I feel a lot more confident about myself thanks to the optical express team!! Definitely would recommend!!!
