I met Amanda and Carlo doing a training session with a puppy. It was absolutely amazing what was achieved within a matter of 2 hours. This was a few weeks ago and I can say that the puppy in question is already listening and heading commands, absolutely brilliant! I would recommend their service to anyone who wants their dog listening to commands by the owner and not the other way around. Also, Amanda and Carlo are such a lovely couple and it was a real pleasure meeting them.

We've found Good-Dog Training by their brilliant reviews after having problems with our puppy. She was often getting out of control whilst out for a walk. Barking at everybody and everything; chasing cyclists and motorbikes; not being friendly with other dogs and pulling on the lead very badly. At this point we were already over two sets of puppy classes, a couple of books and plenty of Youtube videos but the results were yet to come.Then we booked our 2 hours session with Good-Dog and it was just WOW! Their reviews didn't lie. Amanda and Carlo are the nicest couple, very knowledgeable, professional and respect each other as well as they respect others.I won't go into details but they have changed our dog completely within 15-20 minutes. Or they have changed us?! I would say they have changed both by teaching us how to handle our dog properly, giving her trust and confidence.We are still shocked as we didn't expect immediate results. We can now feel comfortable taking our dog out with ourselves on the weekends without worrying about her behaviour.We cannot recommend Amanda and Carlo high enough. We had a consultation with Amanda and Carlo this morning with our 10 month old GSD who considers himself pack leader. We needed help and boy did we get it this morning. These two trainers really know what they're doing and within minutes Ted was like a different dog. They were very professional and demonstrated training tools and techniques which they knew would improve his behaviour. I was impressed with the difference in Ted's behaviour in such a short time. Both Amanda and Carlo gave us excellent advice on issues we didn't even realise were issues which along with the training techniques we have learned has given us confidence that our future with Ted will be more enjoyable and fulfilling.I highly recommend Good Dog training to anyone who needs professional guidance and help. I learned more from these two in a short time this morning than I did in 4 weeks with another training school.Thank you Amanda and Carlo.

Thank you so much, Good-Dog! We had invested lots of time and money in our 18 month old German Shepherd dog, Nox, but had encountered increasing problems as he hit adolescence. He had become so distracted by dogs and other animals that our recall was getting worse and he had become reactive on the lead. We really need him to be 100% reliable because I work around frail and vulnerable people so we needed to calm him down and help him control his enthusiasm. The techniques and insight into the canine mind that you gave us in just two hours have transformed his behaviour dramatically. The very next day we had our 11 year old son walking the dog to heel through crowds, past multiple dogs without so much as a grumble, let alone a snarl or a leap. Within a week his recall has improved to the point that I can call him away from another dog in the park, off the lead, and he comes back immediately. It’s made us so proud of Nox and crucially made both the dog and the family much more relaxed. We have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone who needs that but of help to break through trying problems- well worth the journey up the M1!

We have had our 1st training session with Carlo and Amanda for our 4 month old Beagle cross recently. Even just from the short time it has been we can see a huge improvement in the behaviour of our dog which has reduced the stress massively in the whole household. They are extremely thorough and passionate about what they do and I have a huge amount of trust in them to guide us through the puppy training process. We are all extremely grateful and looking forward to our next training session when appropriate. Thank you very much to both of you.

We were looking to get a new puppy and asked the Good-Dog team to visit us to prepare us for the arrival our our new family member.Carlo and Amanda visited our house 5 weeks before our pup arrived and answered all our questions. Helped teach our children how to play with the pup, how to best help us to act around the pup so we can shape our dog in to fitting in to our lives. Our home was assessed as to the best place for our new pup to be for her own safety and development.The advice was amazing, our questions and expectations were managed and we now feel prepared for the arrival of our puppy.The knowledge and professional actions of this team is amazing, we would have made so many mistakes without you guys thank you so very very much.

From 12 weeks until now (2 years) my dog has been trained by Amanda and Carlo. I have nothing but good things to say about their treatment of him, their care for him and the training he has received has turned him into a well rounded, loving and obedient boy. At 52kg there was a lot of worry he’d be a problem if he wasn’t properly trained, but they have done a brilliant job in helping us to understand him and turn him into a fantastic family dog! Our first visit from Amanda and Carlo yesterday to help us train our puppies - and retrain our older boy. Apart from the fact the session was fun and interesting, we learned a great deal, which isn’t impractical to put into practise. Some hard work ahead, but we have a solid foundation to work with. Both Amanda and Carlo clearly know their stuff, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing some help with their dogs/puppies.

I can thoroughly recommend Amanda for dog walking. She has been taking our 4 year old Labrador for walks twice a week for the past 2 years. Our dog looks forward to her walks very much. She runs out of the door when Amanda arrives, happily jumps into her van (with very safe, individual spaces for each dog). She is returned a few hours later a tired and happy pup. Amanda is very easy to communicate with and is very reliable.

Amanda and Carlo helped us with our six month old red and white Irish setter. They were extremely knowledgeable and patient, giving us the tools and confidence to correct in the right way. It's early days, but we've already seen a massive difference after one session.
