Review of the venue itself, not the show (the show & performers were amazing). The venue feels a little grimey and like they’ve squeezed in as many tables as possible. We bought VIP tickets as were celebrating and went to watch the Badly Behaved Burlesque Show in July. The host was brilliant, the dancers and performers amazing and engaging (also my first time to a cabaret), it was a very immersive experience. The table we were on felt as stable as a chair with 3 legs. It was wobbling around and the venue draped black tablecloths to hide what felt as big as a bedside table. Although we had great seats, right by the stage.Food was a bit mixed. With our VIP tickets we got a ‘5 course menu’ but one of us is vegetarian and one of the veggie courses was a bowl of fries…not what you’d expect for £120 a ticket. Other dishes were tasty but nothing to shout home about, presentation certainly lacking - so much so I didn’t take photos. The desserts were interesting and we ended up leaving the second one. But you’re not really there for the food!Drinks…re-mortgage your house & buy a sleeping bag! I appreciate the London location, but be prepared to pay through the nose. On top of this, there’s a £2 ‘cover charge’ and a MANDATORY 12.5% service charge. This I struggled with because the service was not good. The waiters were lacking in serious hygiene standards, un-attentive and we constantly had to ask for our water to be re-filled. There was one waitress who was lovely, we did a shot with her for fun and she was great. As was the lady selling merchandise! Everyone else needs a refresh on their training. The show itself was great fun, lively and interactive! Front row seats were a real treat. Don’t think we will be returning to this venue, but would definitely recommend the show if it went elsewhere.

Probably worth splitting this review into sections. We went as a couple for a fun night out on a Saturday and purchased standee seating with food (not restricted view) for burlesque provocateur.Performers/artistsEveryone was fantastic. I wouldn't fault them at all and the show was brilliant. From the singing, performance to the tempo and atmosphere where great.FoodThis arrives during the show. We could only order the Bollywood menu as they had 'kitchen issues'. You have to order in advance.Food was good. Not as hot as I would have liked and there was plenty of time to get this out between performances but it arrived mid show. No terrible but room to improve here. Check the small print you ticket price is 'service charged' and the table has a cover fee also.DrinkMixed bag.Bottles are expensive for what they are.Cocktails are hit and miss our first round were delicious the second round were half the size (same cocktails) and mostly ice.Shots (£7 each for tequila)CostExpensive our tickets were £120Our in venue bill was another £160. We bought drinks, shots and merch but £124 of this was drink (bottle of prosecco, cocktails)SeatsThe stage has a mirrored pillar in the middle. We arrived early and seated whilst the venue was not full. Our view was totally restricted (despite paying for not restricted) I can't see many seats where it wouldn't be. Picture below shows the view we had. I'd say on average we could see half of what was going on.

I recently capped off a trip to London with a show at Proud City: Drag Bingo hosted by Craig Webb. I cannot recommend this place enough! It was an absolute highlight of my time in the UK. The staff were so lovely and welcoming and the drinks were delicious! The show was BEYOND! Craig is an absolutely incredible host, his voice is stunning, song selection perfection and his hosting skills are warm, charming and cheeky and everything you would want for an incredibly fun night out. He made the crowd feel at ease while also having us laugh out loud through out the night. The Drag show was also so amazing and all of the Queens were gorgeous (special shout out to Baby Face for performing/singing live ORIGINAL music) and speaking of the music, the DJ spun all the best dance hits from the past 5 decades and we were on our feet dancing all night! Bingo is also always such a fun time and the songs they picked for the bingo board were perfect. Will definitely be back to see another show here when Craig is hosting and I recommend anyone looking for great entertainment in the UK go check this place out!

For a cabaret, they certainly know how to kill the fun! From the moment you purchase your tickets, you are bombarded by emails detailing their rules and mandatory extra fees. £2 cover p.p., 15% service charge on everything including your ticket because that is essentially food"

The place looked fancy from the outside but average when in.We had dinner and when the bill arrived we were overcharged. They mentioned that prices on the menu are for premium tickets which was not specified in the menu at all and the waitress didn't clarify neither, rather passing all time making jokes and trying to confuse you. Mains were actually appetizers (the steak was not even 50 grams and the orata even less) . When we raised the issue to the waitress ( which calls herself Antonia), she had the courage to tell us ' if you want to eat more you have to pay more' after spending 90 pounds in food. Service charge is mandatory at 15 % not sure for what reason. This place is a shame with no ethics and professionalism

I dont even know where to start. This is not as advertised, show was good, but not even close to the burlesque, definitely not suitable for date night. Singer and dancers were good and its such a shame that food and service are letting them down.Service is terrible waiters didnt even tuck up their shirts correctly, open buttons showing bare chest and jewerly...I was shocked when they served us food. Just look at the photos. In 2023 even if you cant afford to hire proper chef surely you can order pretty decent quality of the food ready to be plated or hire cathering agency. This was shoking, just look at the photos. Basic bread rolls named homemade bread, bruscetta without any seasonings decorated with dead salad leaves, risotto tasted like it was made from packet and I am not even willing to describe taste of homemade tiramisu. We preorder tomato salad and they said that they dont have it and tried to serve us rucola instead, i am not sure what was the point of the preorder.Place need cleaning, toilets were dirty they probably wasnt cleaned some time.We settled bill early and left.

We wanted a different date night out & plumped for Proud City Cabaret. We had no expectations at all but we have been to many floor shows. The address is not an easy venue to find as there’s no signage but once we did find it (after much searching) we were pleasantly surprised. The venue is just right. Spacious, gritty but with a fun ambience. The waiter assigned to us wasn't easy to understand as he had a thick European accent but he turned out to be great. Very obliging with nothing being too much trouble. Food was ok but edible. The compere was very professional and humorous despite the audience indifference. The acts were really good especially the burlesque dancer, the trapeze artiste and the fire eater. All very sexy and very watchable. It was streets ahead of Lio which we attended several months ago. We had a wonderful night out and will recommend to our friends.

I went to Proud City cabaret Saturday night with and a few friends. The food and service were ok but the show was truly excellent! Really high quality Burlesque acts (some of them could have been a bit longer), dancers and singers. We particularly loved the host Dagmar whose showmanship (and VOICE!) were truly impressive! Class act!I would say that the overall sound was WAY too loud though! The music during the acts and after the show (deafening). But for the quality of the show itself I would recommend it.

I will never set foot in this club again. Absolutely horrendous experience! Even 1 star rating is a compliment.Let's start with the venue, which lived up to its shady reputation, but the real nightmare unfolded thanks to the abysmal staff. The cloakroom was a disaster. Our personal belongings and clothes were dumped into oversized black garbage bags and tossed into a cramped room.Upon returning to retrieve our belongings, we were met with a queue of 30 people. Predictably, the staff couldn't locate anything, and the longer they searched, the more chaotic it became. We endured nearly an hour of waiting just to reclaim our stuff. At a certain point, the staff decided to take all the bags out of the room and place them outside where people were waiting, cramping us to a tight row. Bags were haphazardly tossed outside the room, and they had the audacity to scream at us that it wasn't their responsibility anymore. Keep in mind; they still charged us for the cloakroom disaster. This was hands down the worst staff and management experience I've ever encountered. The individuals were obnoxious, with the event manager taking the cake for having the most repugnant personality imaginable. A truly disgusting experience from start to finish. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this nightmare of a club.btw, drinks prices are ridiculously high!!!
