Tried ordering on the phone, real bad language issues, finally get order correct then find out prices gone up a lot and they only accept cash on delivery.... so order cancelled

So disappointing. We’ve regularly ordered from Hongs for the last 8 years because the food used to be delicious. The last few times have been below standard. The quality and portion size has gone down and the price has gone up, plus they have given us the wrong dish. Not to mention the woman in there is rude. We will be finding a new regular Chinese restaurant.

Ordered from Hongs for the first time tonight and was really impressed. Really tasty, and the set menus are good value too. You will need cash on delivery, rather than the ease of using an app.or card but you won't regret it

Tonight service was appalling! As soon as they answered we were put on hold and the person on the phone was rude.After waiting an hour food still hadn't arrived so put in another call and was told 10 mins still nothing arrived and called again was told 5 mins. It eventually arrived after another 15 mins later. Driver had been given the wrong address at least 4 times and had taken my mobile number down wrongly so driver couldn't contact us.Disgusting!!!!!!!!!!

Ordered takeaway from here for the second time last night. Excellent food and very reasonably priced. But what most impressed me was the fact that they had missed two pancake rolls from our order and I didn't notice until I'd brought the food home. They were extremely polite and apologetic and arranged for the missing items to be delivered and they arrived within 5 or 10 minutes with another apology. Excellent service and makes you feel they really appreciate their customers. Great food and great people.

Have been using this take away for quite a few years and always been good. However since lock down their prices have jumped up nearly £ 1 per dish, not only that the quality of the chicken seems to be really cheap cuts or they have changed their cooks. I for one am going elsewhere.

I was recommended to try Hong's and it was the best Chinese I have had!! Fresh, very tasty and great price! Now my favourite take away!
