Avoid avoid avoidReally disappointed in this hotel. The rooms are so filthy I spray everything with anti bac spray before touching it. I've had to clean my room with anti bac in order to be able to just sleep & commute for a week.The door itself to the room does not seem safe I lock everything every dayThe walls are filthy the wardrobe is a dust collector and the cobwebs shock horrorThe shower door is broken, the water trap is broken beds are uncomfortable there really is nothing good about this placeThis place is hell on earth

The room exceeded my expectations, the view both ways along the Thames was exceptional.A lovely bathroom, comfy bed, a classy hotel

Stayed last night with 3 friends. It was cheap so wasn't expecting The Ritz but it was far worse than expected. The drains in the bathroom absolutely stank and even with the bathroom door closed it was unbearable. Friendly staff but let down by the state of the accomodation.

The staff are absolutely rude and rude and impolite. They even don’t know how to speak English properly. They should pass a course how to deal with guests and customer. The receptionist in charge talked like uncivilized ones. They are cooperating with OYO. Never and never trust to OYO to find a hotel for you because they are at the hotels service and their motto is we are right not the customers. Don’t trust to this Empire hotel that all the photos are never updated and never trust to the pictures of their website. If you want to have a horrible experience in your stay or you are interested to get ignored and not to respectfully behaved you can choose Empire Hotel and experience a disgusting memories.

Probably the worst etablissement i have ever been to. We had no toilet paper, the shower only had boiling hot water, we had only 1 pillow and no towels, the room and bathroom were very dirty. The bed size for a two people bed was ridiculous. And there is a very strange smell in the rooms.I thought it could not be that bad as i red the rating for this hotel, BUT IT WAS EVEN WORSE! Do not check in there, i would even prefer to sleep in a litter bag.

Pig ignorant bloke behind a desk to lazy to stand up booked 2nights paid upfront. Cash told come back after 1.ooclock smelly stinky people with a totally despicable attitude to clients about time they had a visit from health n safety or the drug squad stunk of dope I had my money back from Mr ignorant who was stinky and drunk on duty worst dump I've avoided for ever never ever stay here its a doss house with flees flys the smell is unbearable

Horrible place… rooms smelt of damp, one of the room we had had one mattress on top of other in stead of mattress on divan/bed, room doors won’t shut properly and if some how shut won’t open, doors were noisy, bathroom/ shower tray blocked, no bins in WC, rooms not cleaned- sticky fluid on floor, before bed and on the tables!!!Can go on and on….Staff seemed helpful and courteous but the place seriously needs an update.. in fact it should not be open unless completely functional… Am sure it will fail H&S test if reported.Terrible.. wish had booked premier inn or Travelodge .. would have got it in the same price or perhaps cheaper.Will recommend viewing the room before committing a stay.

hello team,i was in 312 room and rooms is absolutely good very cleaned.....and receptionist was very good he was carried my bags and all...thank you empire

Interesting place , could be a lot better, it feels like it's been there a long time, just we had a cold shower, just a shame there was some good details in the place but needs some care taken in others
