Reached out to Matthew for a fairly last minute shoot with our newborn, to capture some lovely photos to be used as Christmas gifts. He was really accommodating and agreed to meet at our favourite woodland walk. Matthew was extremely responsive in the lead up to the day and was very chilled on the day itself - making us feel really at ease and comfortable throughout. We were seeking candid, natural shots, in the great outdoors, and he certainly delivered. We received our photos just a few days after meeting up and we absolutely love them. He has managed to capture some really joyous moments and we look forward to sharing them with our loved ones!

I commissioned Matthew to take some photos of me for a special occasion and he chose the venue of Elvaston Castle which turned out to be a very good choice. We spent around an hour on site with Matthew selecting the best and varied locations. He sent me a gallery of photos to select my favourites and it proved an extremely difficult task as all the photos were stunning. I would have no hesitation in recommending him as a portrait photographer

I wanted to have a photoshoot with a difference as the focus was my dog and an ordinary studio shoot was not going to cut it! Matt was relaxed and friendly and lead the shoot with the upmost professionalism. We had a good giggle along the way in Rufford Country Park! All of the images he sent are absolutely amazing. There is a mixture of candid and posed shots and every single one makes me smile. It is hard to choose a favourite. I can recommend Matt without a moments hesitation. After having my son at the end of last year I knew I wanted to get a family picture to mark the occasion. I am so thankful I came across Matt on social media. I was drawn to his work as he captures beautiful candid family moments at a location of your choosing which was important to us as we wanted our dog (a very important family member) to be included. Booking matt was very simple, I origanally chose Newstead Abbey as the location but we ended up at Elvaston Castle as Matt had been there recently and suggested it as it was lovely and it was. Myself and my husband who hates having his picture taken had a great time, the session was very relaxed and fun. The pictures are amazing and I can't wait to book matt again in the future. I'm already singing his praises to friends currently planning their weddings.
