Mecca Bingo Croydon

The staff here are not welcoming at all so don't look for a warm welcome, however the atmosphere is quite HOT, like furnace HOT.The main event is from 7 - 9 pm and out of the time you will spend about an hour playing Table Top Bingo so I would advise if you want to spend £20 on the Electronic Bingo or Tables. Very Annoying to be honest.Pros The Bingo Hall is very big and there are little to no customers so the seating options are pretty vast.

First time going to bingo , extremely helpful staff and a good experience. Didn't win but I hopefully will next time . Only downside was there was only Worthingtons or carling beer on draught , a couple ciders too but in a beer drinker

It's a nice place to go if you're into bingo and a little flutter. The only downfall is the food. It isn't nice at all, and all the fizzy drinks are sugar-free.

Didn't win any bingo, but spent a couple of pleasant hours with my daughters, eating and drinking as well as playing bingo.

Love Mecca bingo, its gr8 fun, even better when you win of course, i go for the manual slips usually because it keeps me engaged but they have the option to use the tablets at no extra charge and that checks your slips automatically if you just want to socialise. Drinks are a decent price and the food isn't terrible for a bingo hall. I will say the Croydon location is especially rugged. I have been to better kept bingo halls but it's fine for purpose.

Went for a friend's birthday, had some good fun, fyi people take their bingo very serious. I won £15 so that was a bonus

Fun games way cheaper than buzz bingo but mecca's full house price could be better. Also air-conditioning is non existent. Really enjoyable experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to try bingo for the first time.

This is meant to be a fun night out... the staff should be told that, not expect you to know which security numbers to yell out to the caller if you have a win, and then get narky when they don't know what you're talking about! The food portions are so small for the price, and the kitchen staff could take a lesson in not banging metal about and shouting to each other whilst the bingo is in play. The caller also could do with some retraining in how to host the night, not act like he's the teacher in a classroom and chastise players for false calling, telling them he doesn't have time to stop if it's a false call and to concentrate. The whole evening just felt more of an endurance than an enjoyment.
