Really poor service. I gave them my watch ⌚ to repair 3 weeks ago and I'm still waiting!

Just a bit hit and miss when they're going to be open. Want to drop some clothes off at 905...closed...I take it back. By the time I finished the review they were open. These guys are always really nice and helpful. I guess I come at end or beginning of the day times and just expect the shutters to be open.

Popped in on Sunday to have a chat about replacing watch straps , was done very quickly and good advice was given .thanks

When the kiosk is open then its great...have had several pairs of shoes re-heeled or soled here. Marked down as have found it regularly closed in recent months. Possibly a shortage of staff cover.

The shopkeeper is very unfriendly. Twice we went there served by the same guy, the first time was having our keys cut. He cut the wrong keys we had to take it back to him the next day and he turned around and saying that we didn't give the clear instruction and is our fault that the keys were cut wrongly. The second time we took our watch to change battery then come back collect after shopping in tesco. When we return it was 5.05 and he was staring at me from inside of the shop then said he is closed, he said he told me he closes at 5 and he is not going to serve me. I asked if he wants me to come back tomorrow even he is there and I can see my watch there have already repaired? He was doing it reluctantly and took my payment with unfriendly look. I will never ever return to timpson ever again!!!!

Went earlier this week's to have some heels repaired. Wish I had checked the reviews first.To repair the damaged heels they charged £10, which I found to be expensive as the shoes were bought at £15, in anycase I thought it would be worth it as I loved these particular heels. Sadly the workmanship was very poor, and the material above the heel had not been stuck down properly and was peeling off. The person thete was not friendly AT ALL. In fact i would go as far to say he appeared quite hostile. This seems to be the case at other Timpsons too.. the one in Welwyn garden city also has major customer service issues. They are beyond unhappy and very rude. So I do not recommend Timpsons. Perhaps it's a training issue, or problem with employee benefits. But it's certainly not except able to charge people for a poor service and give them a rude and unwelcoming customer service experience.

Did a great job on two pairs of old faithfuls. The sales assistant looked at one pair of boots and said he wasn't happy with the heels previously put on by Timpson, so he changed them. I've worn one pair of boots a once and found the sole has split at the side, and it wasn't like that before I took them, so I'm very disappointed.

Never received a phone back after taking my watch in for repair..

Went in this evening after the bottom of a boot heel came off, no more than inch square. Asked if it could be repaired on the spot.No chance far too much work as he sat down looking at the screen.What happened to help someone in desperate need. I’m no expert but it would have taken no more than 10 mins.

Andy got me out of a bad situation today! Snapped my car key in half and was stuck unable to move the car. Walked down to timpsons from the other side of hatfield. Andy had a look and cut a new key for me. Even giving me a lift back to my car to check it worked. Which it did! Can't be happier with the service I received.
