Beautiful food and great service. Reasonable price for what you get. Fab kids play area and games room and dog friendly! Would definitely recommend it, and we will be back. Can't rate rooms as only went for a meal.

Great food. Allows dogs. High quality local produce cooked well. Large beer garden and children’s play area. Large car park. Busy on a Sunday and was still served quickly & well. Very enjoyable meal.

Gorgeous pub/restaurant, slightly quirky design but very charming. Fantastic food, well priced, good sized portions. Great location

Came here for a carvery on the recommendation of a friend and found it underwhelming at best. However having subsequently eaten from the main menu, found the food on that to be a much higher standard.Otherwise, it's a very pleasant, welcoming and friendly pub with plenty of character nestled in the beautiful Isle of Wight countryside.

Great location and the service was very good from our waiter who was very friendly and helpful. The food however wasn’t great …..we had the carvery and many items seemed to be undercooked. The Beef was VERY red ( maybe this was just not to our liking) however the Turkey was nicely cooked and moist. However The Broccoli could not be cut it was so hard (so we left that) and the roast potatoes were not crunchy, they were either anaemic or burnt, not sure how they managed that !The guy serving the carvery was very miserable, no smile, no eye contact, he just grunted at you and clearly hated being there. We were really looking forward to our meal and left very disappointed so we wont be back.

Un booked visit for Saturday afternoon dinner. Quite a busy visit due to a wedding party there but still managed to be served promptly. The food wasn't the best, lasagne was a bit like dog food if I'm brutally honest, and it's not like it was cheap enough to warrant the 'pub grub' comment.Garden is fantastic area for the kids to play in, animals surrounding the hills either side, grass area for a kick about, swings, slides play house, it has the lot. The outside seating area needs a little bit of love but it's still pleasant enough.I'd like to return here and try a different dish in the hope the food was a one off.

Lovely pub in the countryside. Service slow kept having to look for bar staff. I was glad there were no children in dining room the language coming from the bar wasn't good. I no its a pub but trying to enjoy a meal listening to people talking about dog mess and fing and blinding not good

Had a lovely meal here, the skinny fries were very nice not hot hot , but hot enough to eat, the coleslaw so creamy. The haddock was very large and the prices were not too bad. They were brilliant with the children. Would definitely go again
