Absolutely disgusting place who are undoubtedly the death of many patients. So after 18 months of asking for no assistance I have asked for help to basically be met with rude unkind members of this shocking service

Awful!!! I have been suffering with symptoms and was diagnosed. The doctor gave me a sheet of paper with books to read about the condition and told me it was more of a self help treatment. Didn’t put me on any waiting lists for treatment. Didn’t advise on any medication either! I have been suffering recently from some awful symptoms I must have called well over 10 times in the past two months! No treatment plan put in place at all. They tried to prescribe me some medications after weeks of suffering which gave me an awful reaction and are actually anti psychotics. They diagnosed me with something pretty scary and have left me to suffer on my own. I do have to credit a lovely duty worker Tracy who I’ve spoken to on two occasions who has been so warm kind and helpful. But the place on a whole is a shambles!

The most chaotic and unorganised service. I suffer with extreme anxiety, depression and BPD and my whole experience with this service has done nothing but increase my anxiety due to constantly having to chase for information about sessions or appointments etc. My mental health tests were apparently not received even though I sent them back completed on the day I received the email so these must have been lost. I was referred for DBT sessions which I didn’t attend 3 of them, the first one because I was working and the other 2 a case of major anxiety that I couldn’t get through. I emailed explaining this and had a response back from IPTS that they will add me to the next sessions in November. CMHT then discharged me without any knowledge of why I hadn’t attended - perhaps if they called and asked I could have explained over the phone. I had to ring up Turbary Park asking why this is and no one gave me much explanation as to why - just said they will ask the doctor and get back to me… this was a week ago no one has got back to me yet and I can’t seem to get through on the phone. At a loss with what to do as I need the help but I really don’t want to be under the care of this service/location. The lack of care and compassion is so evident and to have people so blatantly careless whilst working with the most vulnerable people is quite frankly disgusting and it’s harrowing to think of how many people have had to fight so hard to get help within the service to be met with such lack of care. This is not okay.

I urge people that are unhappy to make a Formal Complaint!! And don’t be fobbed off with PALS !! Go as high as you can !Someone will have to listen at some point !!Not fit for purpose! You literally will be waiting around 4/5 months from one appointment to the next, no care plans, or help in between appointments, if they mess up it will be your fault ( you are confused and the one with M/H problems, so it must be you)Don’t retain staff so no continuity of care, in two years only had one letter following up from psychiatrist appointment.Shame as 20 years ago it was really good.Update: I was discharged due to “not engaging with service “ it’s not possible to engage with a non existent service!!

Have been with cmht for a long time until I was told I didn't engage properly due to eupd and bad depression on and off have taken many exempts to end life with not even a thought .cmht was helping with me off loading how or what state of mind I was in I was not engaging with them . Easy for them to push me aside and say that that when I was coping getting along just some good days really bad days and now at a all time low feeling worse than ever meditation only does a small part ......I only ask for a some one to help but get fobbed off I have pannick attacks that feel like full blown heart attack bit knowing it's a pannick attack takes a hour or so to calm down .....screw cmht only need sum one to be there and listen....and off load too that know my past and don't have to tell a stranger ur past coping day to day gets harder when there is no support thanks cmht poole

I would actually like to say I would like to give this no stars the reason why is simply because I actually got told I have complex PTSD actually I had diagnose myself with lack of confidence in the psychiatrist confirming what I already had acknowledged engaging with CMHT was awful experience with duty CMHT they said I could phone at any time and when I had had a bad experience of abuse outside they said I would expect this because of my condition all the time they had no compassion or empathy towards people so how was I meant to be open and honest when they treat me in a disgusting manor I think they need re-educating on how to treat a human being because at the end of the day we are human beings and what I've read with the comments and reviews on here I feel that people feel the same and that speaks volumes in itself stay away from the CMHT community mental health team

absolutely appalling & disgusting, beyond unacceptable mental health services.i have severe trauma & they won't even assess me for ptsd let alone give me the urgently pressing desperate therapy i need.i agree with other reviews, utterly despicable & abhorrent service.doctors do not stick to any psychiatric protocols; im not a qualified psychiatrist but i know way more than these negligent harmful untrained workers.agree with comment that this specialist service" is a "disorganised chaotic mess"edit/update (3wk later) - I’m glad 2 people have found this helpful so far. I’d like to join a patient participation group with Dorset CCG

I was referred here after attempting my life twice. It started off well, the lady I was meeting, Sarah, was lovely. However, they decided to discharge me today even after me attempting my life 5 times, the last one being 4 nights ago. They decided there was nothing else they could do for me and this was decided by Dr Mutta. They asked me if I had any plans of harming myself today and I said yes and told them exactly what I'd use. Both sarah and dr mutta just sat there, didn't say anything in return and let me walk out the room. After telling someone else I had been discharged, they said they wasn't surprised it was by turbary park. They seem to have the worst representation and are known to give up on their patients. I'm now left completely alone without any support when I need it most. I would 100% avoid this place. I started off not understanding the other reviews on here, as I thought sarah was really nice and it was all going well, but now I understand why everyone else is leaving bad reviews. As a mental health team, I really wish they would listen to their patients.

I was referred here after moving half a mile down the road, and no longer being able to attend Hahnemann house. I attended every single appointment, managed every piece of homework" they set me. Eventually giving into the need for medication due to the constant barriers and hurdles they presented. All before the geniuses here decided to diagnose me with something they informed me they don't cover. They then threw me back to my GP without a care in the world. I went back with formal letters to which I received a reply "there was nothing more to add". Upon speaking to my GP they re-referred me after looking at my notes

I am shocked and appalled by my treatment from this place. Locum staff lied on letters they sent out, changed things I said omitted things I said and used many suggestive terms. Covering each others rear ends. Even a situation that didn't happen and wasn't discussed in appointment from a previous situation was brought up in a letter, only they made it sound like I was trying to upset people at the CMHT. This is the worst place ever. Change your doctor so you get put under a different CMHT, refuse to use this one, do whatever you can because this CMHT has done nothing but made me 100 times worse, got everything wrong and tries to protect themselves. Should be Community Make your Health worse Team.Edited to add: Tracy and Sandy on the duty team are lovely and do what they can. The pearl on a cloud of a service.
