Unfortunately, they can't cut keys!Visit 1: Two house keys cut for £13.50. Neither worked when I got home.Visit 2: A further two keys cut at no extra charge. Two original keys were modified. Even though I had yet to get an apology, at this point I felt happy with potentially 4 keys for the price of 2. None of the 4 keys worked when I got home.Visit 3: I asked for a refund which they were happy to do, citing maybe bad suppliers of blank keys. I asked to take one away with me so I could avoid another shop using same brand. I did get an apology at this point too which I appreciated after wasting three trips.The key cutters I then went to in West End made a key (incidentally the same brand), explained why Timpson key may be faulty, then fixed the Timpson key free of charge. I got home and all keys worked perfectly. The West End shop was almost half the price too.So...3 visits to Timpson for expensive keys that don't work...or 1 visit to West End shop for cheaper keys that worked.You might understand why I don't plan on returning Mr Timpson!

Brilliant service, fitted me in last minute when I was in a rush. Quick, efficient and good quality.

Had 6 keys cut in super quick time, no queue, all keys work perfectly. Great job!

So, there is a poster on the wall in the shop, from the company Chairman along the lines of... I give our staff full authority to do what it takes to make our customers happy". Well Mr Timpson

Went there earlier today for a passport photo.I asked about it being Philippines dimensions and was told don't worry we have all on the computer.After opening the computer we were told Philippines is not on there and we needed to Google the dimensions to give to the worker...The first print came out faulty with a rainbow smudge over, we were not asked if the photo was ok, just gestured to pick it up out of the machine. We had a free reprint but it's most important to have an email format, so I entered my email into the computer and we waited. We were told not to worry and it would take 30 minutes to arrive. 4 hours later, still no photo arrived which we paid £12.99 for !!! (4 times over priced..) and with no photo arrived we have called the shop for 15 minutes, but it only just rang and nobody answers. This was urgent for a passport photo and we trusted the instructions from the store that it would arrive in 30 minutes. Now the shops are closing and we don't have time to get our passport photo! Terrible service all round total failure.

Generally good for key cutting but in this instance no replacement battery for car key for two weeks.

Went in to get a key cut and was in and out in less than a minute. Friendly staff and very quick turnaround

Very unhelpful. I asked if they could engrave something for me, to which the response was we only engrave pet tags, that's all the machine can do.. That's all it does mate.I'm not your mate.Please change your advertising to we dont have the skill to engrave by hand, our machine only does pet tags.8 mile drive for nothing, nice one.Another example of what you get for minimum wage I guess.

Made an enquiry about getting a replacing battery for my Diesel designer watch, the cost of a new battery was very similar to the value of the watch.

Had my shoes resoled and heeled it was £29.95. Dropped shoes off in the morning Saturday, collected Sunday. Good job done and the member of staff was friendly and polite
