Premier Inn Bournemouth Westbourne hotel

This is a typical premier inn. The only issues are parking and breakfasts.Parking is very limited, even if you are a disabled so don't assume you will get a space, as people parking in disabled spaces is not checked. There is offsite parking around 500yards away, which is not any help if you have disabled people in your partyAlso running out of granola, croissants and a few items on a Saturday morning is not great way to start.So of the staff are really nice and helpful, others not so.

Comfy bed and good shower. Minimally staffed these days but everything required is done and staff were nice.Rooms are so small I'm not sure how they got the double beds in.Parking is very limited and you have to pay a separate company for this on a machine outside the hotel as you leave.

We had a room that was joined to another so had the door in between rooms along with the normal entrance to the room. 6 AM we were woken up by an individual from the room next to ours WALK INTO OUR ROOM AS WE WERE SLEEPING. Unknown to us the inner doors had not been locked. We had already been in the room the night before and it was pretty unsettling to think we'd go out in the day and sleep at night when anyone could have been into our room and done god knows what. The other individual apologized as was intrigued as to what was through the door but obviously, the staff should have ensured the inter-connecting door was locked as the two rooms were not being inhabited by the same group. Other than that it was fairly noisy from the floor above us and in the hallways so I don't intend to return to this premier inn.

Everything you need very close to Bournemouth. Service was good, food was good. Beds were comfortable, parking charge fair. Only bad comment is could do with a spruce up. Would return.

I have stayed in alot of premier inns all around the country and have always been very satisfied with the service and my stays . However myself and my daughter had a really poor stay in this particular Premier Inn , the rooms were not to a clean standard that we expect , I was woken up at 3am by noise from others up and down the corridor, I'm not sure what room was under ours but there was alot of banging doors from early hours , when we left our room all we could smell was weed down the corridor and the man who ran the bar was very rude, moody and closed the bar at 10.25pm on a Friday evening.Will not be staying here again

If you're looking for a hotel with the worst reception staff ever, this is the place for you! They have perfected the art of making guests feel unwelcome and ignored. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that customer service is a foreign concept to them. It's amazing how they manage to maintain such a high level of rudeness throughout the entire stay.

One of the best Premier Inn's I have stayed in when it comes to comfort.The beds were very comfortable and noise was to a minimum and the air conditioning was nice. The power shower was very good.Breakfast was great, except I had to wait 20 minutes for gluten free bread.The negatives were that the room was not clean enough to my high standard - there was quite a bit of dust and a few hairs noticeable in the bathroom. The restaurant was also very dusty.Minor negatives were we were missing cups in the room for the tea/coffee, and the menus for the evening meal were sticky and food stained.The location was good, just a short walk to the beach front.

You really cannot do any better for your money than a Premier inn. My only down on this Inn, was my room 12 was the smallest I have ever had but everything was there. The desk" was not big enough for my laptop to be used very well

Premier Inn generally known as a solid and worry-free solution for those wanting to stay shorter periods, I affirm the same applies to the one in Westbourne too.Arriving very late without a reservation - all known booking portals showed no vacancies - an extremely helpful and friendly member of staff accommodated my request and handed us the keycards for two rooms with everything one needs for a 2-night “I really just need a bed” stay.Yes, those fastidious when it comes to rating hotel rooms would probably have plenty to pick on, yet our rooms were both clean & tidy, everything worked, and even had working climate control, useable without having to wear earmuffs! Hence, my stay more than met expectations, especially considering this was £60 per room, per night lodging.Reason why I have sliced a star off my overall rating for this location is due to the very uncomfortable and worn off catering area (the chairs and especially seat benches are awful!), and waking up from a good nights rest, having an uneasy breakfast spoils it a little.Also, the bar closes at 10.30 p.m. Seriously?!

The family room we stayed in was clean and spacious.The Kingsize bed and 2 single beds were so comfortable to sleep in.The all you can eat continental and cooked breakfast was amazing - the only niggle was that we had to wait quite some time to be seated, as it looked like the Restaurant member of staff was also serving on the Reception desk as well.The location of the hotel was perfect as you are in walking distance to the town and nearby restaurants.Definitely recommend this hotel.
