At the moor end of the trail it is much less busy, easy to park, nice little cafe. Lovely quiet place to walk.

The camel trail is a lovely ride. But be warned it does get very busy in school holidays and summer months. If you intend doing the full ride allow at least four hours.

Camel trail car park
Free car park (still free on 03/04/19) for when you're using the camel trail. Bus stop also close at road junction. Cafe opposite car park. We parked the car & got the bus to Bodmin & walked the camel trail back to Wenford Bridge, approx 6.5 miles (no facilities between the two).

It's a nice long ride but Wadebridge to the snails pace café is a bit bumpy and rough I would prefer the tarka
